Dave the sheaths are great, i love the Brum dagger and sheath, where are you geting the names for these knives are they names that you have called the knives or is it layman names as i have never heard of the names before, please explaine a bit about the knives material and so on, dang i do like the bottom knive its got that old west look to it, Don it does have the look of the old M.Price style, i collect the antique bowies and let a M. Price go about 6 months ago, well i got about $700 at the time it was it seemed a good idea but now i regret it as you dont find them to oftern.
  3. Hi Bronkbuster i could help withe the first part, the way i do it is to clamp a steel ruler to the piece on the block and just put the stamps against the ruler, Don
  4. Hi Overkill welcome to the forum glad you found us, there are a few members that make armour here , Azmal makes stuff that is just out of this world, i must admit the armour does look good but i wouldnt like to meet you in a dark ally wearing it id probably s**t my self, Don
  5. erm if it isnt cleaning up it could only be a top surface problem, ive never run into this problem myself as we dont have barge here, but how about taking a very fine i mean realy fine wet and dry sand paper and just roughen the top surface on the spot and add a concentrated amount on the spot of dye and let it soak for a bit and rub it in, if you are using antique it might blend in ok, you had better put a drop of barge on a scrap piece of leather and try it out first on that before you ruin your project, with my stupid idea LOL, Don
  6. Good news about the tandy in the uk means i can order without the import tax like from the US
  7. i hope mbrien doesnt minde me posting it for him, Don
  8. Hi Howard welcome to the forum glad you found us. Don
  9. Nice work warren i had a look at your first holster and what surprised me was that your stitching is very good, and the second holster is not realy an easy beginers holster to do which you have mastered very well, every thing lines up well nice shape and will probably last for ever, take a little bit more time on your edges and burnish them abit more, Don
  10. well its nearly correct the top backstrap and frame is also higher on the bissley so the screw holes wouldnt match up from a standard SAA back strap but its apearence is very close as you said the hammer and back strap, Don
  11. Yup those are very very nice, Don
  12. Hi hilly no sorry i dont have that one, i wish i could edit the post at the begining as i should have stated western gunleather as i dont normally make modern stuff, not without having the gun in front of me, maybe some other holster makers here can help you out sorry, Don

  14. Hi steve the spurs look great, not nit picking but i wear and make spur straps and was puzeled to see that you put the adjusting slots at that angle rather than away from the tension direction....erm do you understad what i mean, i normally make them so the slots are facing back away from the button, Don
  15. Hi Johnny what i do have is a nice simple holster for the 1911 hope that helps, Don

  17. Well what can i say i have always loved your work and bezas, its a shame as the seats you were doing before where custom seats and now its as if they only want the logo of the company for advertising, your work is clean and a loss to the upcoming customers of sucker punch as they arnt geting the full benifit of your abilities, due to the owners of sucker punch... and you can tell them i said that LOL, honestly if i was a customer for the bike they make i would want a custom seat on it and not a advert and i would contact you privatley to make me one to higher customized standards that you normally do, i like the one in the middle out of the 3 but prefere the old seats, they were better, Don
  18. Hi Johnny welcome to the forum, thats a realy nice seat, there are lots of seat makers here so have fun and show some more pics, Don
