  3. i think you will find that for the ww1 the us millitary used the 38 cal doubble action from colt, the holster was nearly the same as the 1880 version (i do have a pattern) only slightly larger around the trigger guard as to acomodate the larger framed 38 colt, as for 1911 i do have the civillian for the 1911 from frazier patern Nr 9 but i dont have the ww2 mill 1911a1 pattern

  14. OH this could be dangerous when money is in play friendship stops, if the prices are listed along with the item, preices will be droped to be competative and the market will be ruined, one way to do it is pictures which are linked to the sellers email and preices could be delt with without the www knowing, that way we as leatherworkers dont stop bieing friends and a little buisness might come your way, its hard to explain what i mean so i hope you all get the jest of what im trying to say, Don

Welcome to the site Pepi and good luck with building the stitching pony, Don just a thought my one was a present from the wife but if i was to build or buy another i would recomend an ajustable jaw that can be adjusted to different angles as some times like on the one ive got you can get a stiff back as you are always leaning to one side to check the stitching
