  1. Don't know how many you are looking for try this company http://www.ahkwokbuckles.com/wid.html
  2. I of course can't see what the pin looks like, however I would consider snapping off the pins and JB welding a chicago screw to the back of the pin making it a screw back.
  3. Malbar, he did not get the picture attached first time did a second post with the picture http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=51590. The rig is the one in his Avatar
  4. Yes, basically you are making a lined belt. It is a little stiffer then normal belt. How ever at that weight it makes a nice everyday or dress belt. Not what i would use for carring much weight like a concealed carry belt.
  5. Sending PM for Springfield XD40 and spare mag
  6. Josh, outstanding group of items. I espescially like the Mexican loop K Bar. I have several K bars just might have to make me a sheath along those lines.
  7. Resist or block out is not meant for use with Dyes. Dyes are to strong. Resist and block out are meant to be used with high liter and Antiques. Clear Lac works to some extent. I think it is Cyberthrasher on this forum that reccomended using liquid laytex he says it is like using liquid masking tape. I have not used that method yet.
  8. There is a forum that truly would enjoy seeing that scabbard. cascity.com leathershop forum. I would not repost your pictures without your permission. However if you have an opportunity to drop over to that forum I know they would enjoy seeing that scabbard. It is primarily western leather gear many of the members are makers and the rest are users and droolers:)
  9. I have not made that particular bag. However that thread was started by Spinner send him a PM and see if he can give you the help you need. He is a good guy and I am sure will help you if he can.
  10. I make holsters and have done many lined ones with pig sking and other materials. I glue my lining to the inside of the holster body then stitch the mout and toe of the holster(unles the toe will have a plug. I then burnish the edge of the mouth and toe like I would anything else. I then put glue on the inside edge of the pigskin where the two sides will meet to form the main seam. I then fold the holster and stitch the main seam then bevel the edges and burnish as normal. Since the pig skin is sandwiched between the leather and has been glued and stitched, like Terrymac said it is almost impossible for it to come apart and or fray. If you have done your burnishing correctly the edge should look almost like one solid piece and you should have trouble even seeing the edge of the lining material.

  13. I tried Dwights method and it works great if you do a search he has a little tutorial on making the conduit punch. The problem with buying one is that most are not made for holster belt slots and are usually to slim. You can have a custom made one done by Texas Die company for around $60.00.
