  1. Alex You have the business jitters just the same as I had two year ago when I started. Once you get your license and get into the swing of things you will find it is not much different from when you ran it as a hobby. Just record everything, sutdy up on your accounting practices, seek help from local organizations that offer assistance to new business owners and enjoy the ride. I would recommmend the business incusrance especially if you have customers coming to your house on ocassion and also to cover any major losss you may incur. Your current agent should be able to recommend a good policy for you. Mine cost about $42. per month but it is well worht it.
  2. Nice work.
  3. Thank you for the share.

  9. Thanks Cheif, I will discuss this with the local Tandy Manager. Anything to help the bottom line.
  10. Tandy must offer different policies at different locations, I was told by the manager at the local store they do not offer free tools anymore. I have a business account with Tandy I do not receive the same sale flyers as membership participants such as the "Skiver", if they publish that anymore. When I contacted Tandy I was told to continue recieveing it I had to buy a membership, which did not seem quite kosher but they are a profit business. It just seems when you drop over $2k a year with them they might do a little better than what they offer everyone else. Just my opinion and I do have other suppliers.
  11. Curt Looks like you have got a good start at it. Keep at it, study everything you can get your hands on, don't be afraid to stretch your imagination and learn from all the masters on this site.
  12. Thanks Wizcraft and Greystone for the advise but Bob of Toledo Sewing Machine sent me a pdf of the manual. I have read about his dedication to customer service from several subscribers on this site and now I am convinced. AS my business grows and hopefully a need for additional machines, I know who I will contact.
  13. Hello I just purchased a Cowboy 227R but it will not be delivered until next week. Obviously I cannot wait to get my hands on it as it is my first machine. I know a users and or operating manual will be included but I was hoping someone could send me on as a pdf so I might study before delivery. I kinow patience is a virtue but I am like a kid waiting for Christmas. Thanks to all.
