  3. SOMETIMES .........cheaper is not the best way to go...if you take too many short cuts, you will meet yourself comming back. buy the ones from Artisan you'll be glad you did in the long run. i would start off with 277 on top and 207 on the bobbin. this works on my 205-307
  4. super sheen would act as a resist. then apply fiebings antique paste then buff the antique off. the antique will be in all the depressions.
  5. A +........ yes use the camofloge tool.........put a resist down then antique it.

  8. Fred F.......i had almost the same problem as you.. Bought the servo motor & stand from Nick O Sew i am using it on a Consew 227. the motor would go fast i would turn the switch down, it would slow some what ,but it never did do what a servo motor was to do. i fought that motor and did decide to call them and voice my complaint..... guess what... he said that they had problems with that motor from the factory. they replaced it with a "sewquiet 4000 reliable". I HAVE HAD NO PROBLENS AFTER THE SWAP....... i beleive you have a bad motor..........

  10. I have the cast iorn model and i get a perfect stich with Latigo Leather or thick Elk. Few problems with Veg Tan but it still sewed ok. I have a Sew Mo now. Like an Adler. 205-370

  16. Fiebings makes a Dye especially made for Suede. that is what to use on it.

  20. Do you make the Blades yourself ?what size are they ? yes next deer season make contact with deer hunters, you should have lots of deer skins for rawhide. i have not seen the rawhide for sale commercially.
