  1. HOW INNOVATIVE! I think you have a hit on your hands. Those are cool!
  2. Great! Thanks for the info, Matt!
  3. I don't really charge by the hour. I charge by the job and how much work is involved. If you're self employed like me, I don't ever put all my eggs in one basket. You'll be best to do it for fun and see where it takes you from there.
  4. I know what it's like putting a dog to sleep, so great idea for your wallet. The obvious for me is you need more depth. Make your stamps do the work and choose the right stamps for each area. Good start.
  5. I can't help but I'll bump this post.
  6. Great job Shadowryder! I see the customer picked the leather. Is it upholstery leather or do you know? And I see you laced it all or is there any sewing?. Can you tell me how much leather it took for these? It has to be a lot. I hope you were paid well.
  7. Wow, wow, and wow! Just beautiful!
  8. I've learned that calling is better than e-mailing. Here's Todd's (Accufast) number 931-639-7781. I always call Foamforyou too for info. They also have fast shipping.
  9. Cyberthrasher, Your estimating is real close to mine so your memory hasn't failed you! We've been waiting to see your solo seats!
  10. Sorry for not getting back, I work another job during the day...You're talking about the photo I posted? Apparently not enough according to some comments. I'll message you.
  11. Oh poor thing, she needs some rawhide chews. My Corgi just loves the rolls or rings. Keeps him busy.
  12. I always get the best neoprene...I think the cost is really not that much considering how many seats you can get from a 1/2 sheet.
  13. Y-Knot Lace. If I cover the bottom with leather I don't rivet. I glue it on and the lace holds the rest. Haven't had a problem not riveting.
  14. I've used 1/2" up to 1". I'm sure you could use 2" but remember you have to mold around that height. This seat is 1"
  15. Lots of $$$$ for the kit! Just buy a seat pan (www.accufast2d.net) and make it. You've done leather work for years, you shouldn't have a problem. You might ask if Accufast could weld the mounts for you. Good luck!
