  1. NEVER! I always see my errors and wonder if anyone else sees them. I had a motorcycle seat in an article in Easy Rider and I wished it wasn't THAT seat! The motorcycle won best of show in a couple of shows so it appeared front and center in the magazine. It happened to be the one seat I wished hadn't! I have not had any classes or hands on training so this especially hard on me in that I hope every project I take on is done in the right way....So you're not alone, Shooter55!
  2. Nice work! I've never used english bridle. I may have to try it.
  3. Nice! Sometimes our cup of tea doesn't matter! But a special piece for Izzie!
  4. Saw this on your Facebook page...AWESOME, SWEET, PERFECT! What else can I say?!?
  5. Nice straps, I especially like the brown tones.
  6. Does this also fit the Aerostitch? Might be interested.
  7. Ok, I wasn't going 1 1/2 times around the tensioner. I'll try that and see if that makes a difference. Thanks Dirtclod!
  8. I guess by the diagram in the book it's set up right. How often do you adjust the secondary tension wheel? I have not touched it. Another dumb question...the diagram in the book looks like the thread winds around twice on the primary tensioner. Does it??
  9. Ok, I took off the nut and laid out all the parts...I think this is set up wrong. The thread runs in the groove of the round black disk. So adjusting doesn't do anything. I have more parts to match the other secondary tension. Should I replace the disk with the other parts?
  10. Ok, I'll try that...no, the bobbin tension is very snug to pull.
  11. It's about 6-7 oz. I have tried 2 pieces with the same result. Just starting out, I don't know whether to just adjust one at a time or both.
  12. Here are 2 photos of stitching. Front and back. I have messed with both the thread and bobbin tension and I still can't get it right. What am I doing wrong? I'm using 277 thread and 200 chisel needle.
  13. Looks like you're getting the hang of it. Your curves are smooth and flowing. Really good job!
  14. I don't get into masks but you've done a great job!
