It seems there's a growing number of people who want to be a holster maker, and they quickly become a self-proclaimed expert, with only a few months experience. Of course, I've seen the other end of the spectrum as well - those with XX number of years experience. They're still making stuff that is poor quality, poor craftsmanship, and a hazard to wear/use. And the really sad thing in those instances is that they're passing on their haphazard skills to the next person as they extoll their experience.
I would encourage you to continue to set high standards for yourself. Don't settle for anything less. Part of that, too, is recognizing where one's skills really are. You may not be any good at making ___________________, but you sure can do an exceptional job making ____________________.
