  11. Suede is essentially the split part of the leather and is going to be "hairy" on both sides. Chap leather is finished leather and smooth on one side.
  12. I have the Douglas setters and the Judd setters.............both work way better than the Tandy one and less chance of marking the leather.....JMHO
  13. The BK knife blades are usually sharp when you get them....only need to strop. 400 grit is pretty rough and would suggest you go to a finer paper to get a finer edge...........sounds like you might have actually made the edge less sharp and polished....hope this helps........MIke

  21. If I recall correctly, he is drawing with a stylus and then using a modeling tool to "erase" with. It would also explain dark "smudges" from the light burnish effect from the modelling tool. Mike

  23. Depends on the make of guitar. For example.......Telecasters use an 8mm hole or 5/16" most others are smaller
  24. Cut up some old blue jeans for the cloth. Also a wood burnisher mounted in a drill or dremel makes a big difference.
