  1. I go to the sewng store like JoAnn's and get the seam tape. It comes in different widths and will hold really well while you sew...........and won't ooze out on the edges. Got the hint from Kevin King who happens to make a LOT of wallets
  2. Ed, I think it sucks...................but only because it is on your bench..............and not MINE!!!
  3. contact Clay Miller..........he makes tools and can make a custom one
  4. when you enter the hole with the needles and thread......make sure you do it the same way every time.....otherwise the threads get crossed in between......doesn't seem like much but it makes a big and noticeable difference Watch Nigels video!!!
  5. The tutorial as mentioned above is by Nigel Armitage...........excellent video and tutorial..... most important part is to be patient and consistent
  6. That spec sheet will help a lot of people out.
  7. another thing to remember is not to cross or change direction when sewing. it can make your stitches look off. I did notice a few places where this occurred on your piece
  8. Going to be listening to this when I get back to the bench..........Off Friday so for sure then!!
  9. overall very nice.....edges could use a little work though
  10. I would suggest dying before sewing to preserve the thread color.........JMHO

  13. The needle has nothing to do with the presser foot marks. Try loosening the presser foot tension and see if that helps. Too loose and it won't feed properly though!
  14. that is embossed or tooled leather. the untooled or nonembossed areas will look raised like that. and that looks like an arm guard or similar item and is bent into a rounded shape Hope that helps Mike
  15. Apicture of what you are looking for would help........just from what you are saying....are you looking for a petal lifter or undercut beveler?
