Thank you all for the very nice comments , the project did take some time to figure out, like the loading and unloading and all the gun functions. She needed to be able do them her self. it was a fun project she was a doll to work with. I have other medical things made of leather a leg lifter for a for a lady i met while i was in therapy. and a shoulder brace i did for myself the doc loved it. Thanks again for the comments.

This is my most satisfying leather project to date. The lady was told by her Dr. that it would be impossible to shoot handguns again; these pictures show a very happy customer and a very wrong Dr.

Hi Ferg that's some nice work i don't say much but had to for this very nice work. someday when my son come's by i'll have him post some work of mine .cabinet maker for 35 years that all ended with a fall not complaining now have leather best thing so far was a prosthetic mad of leather for a woman with no hands she now shoots her 22 ruger very well her doc said it cant happen i told her don't say to much to him it's hundred year old tec i am sure it was just insurance problem for him. just wanted to see her shoot again . .Ferg very nice work.

Bruno i find gluing the plug in first works well also dbl thickness of 8oz for the plug with a very lite stitch grove, just what i do don't mean its right by your work i know yours will come out very nice cant wait to see.

IMHO No not for holsters but all of the sponsors on this forum know better than me that's for sure my advice is call them tell them exactly what you intend to sew then your informed by a pro you can trust all of them for sure.

Brewers pitch and bees wax 50/50 mix by hand or melt i mix by hand it holds very good.
