  4. Thanks it was fun to make i love making tools .
  5. yes thanks for asking it dose have an edge but it can be used on any size belt if you look at the chest holster i posted the slide is narrower than the jig where you can see through the plate it's easy to line up or you can use a filler let's put it this way if you have this one would not even think of laying it out by hand . Thanks for the question and comments.
  6. Hope this comes out right had a request to see my home made bullet loop jig the plate shown is for 44mag the tool the shaft is 0-1 tool steel the rest brass and walnut works great very fast layout.
  7. Sure i'll share but i'm new at posting pictures i'm working all day today i'll try to get it done tonight .
  8. Thank you for the nice comments the ammo loops are done with a tool and fixture i made just for doing bullet loops this one is for 44mag it makes layout very fast i'm very lazy about doing repetitive work so lets say a layout for a gun belt with 30 loops of - 44mag or any other cal would take about two minutes this sets layout dimples for machine or hand sewing the math is always right the diagonal thread under the loop is set in a stitch groove thats done dot to dot very fast around two min it's so fast it's fun to do best part they are always right. Thank you all for the comments.
  9. I would take it apart from the buckle end the good part is you can pick the stitching out only to where your going to fold the belt make a new elonggated hole for the buckle then re stitch only the back of the foldthen new screws or whatever to hold the buckle on hope this helps.

  16. Sorry Branson didn't mean to mislead by leaving out tooling leather but if these guys say harnees is good for wet molding i would listen to them they have great experience it was just my opinion. anyway best of luck with your holsters .
  17. Tried wet molding a holster out of harness recently must say not what i was looking for but then i dont have anywhere near the experience you gentleman have i did get a nice holster out of it just not what i was looking for. With my limited experience i'll stay with tooling leather for wet molding just works best for me .
