  1. By the looks of things Klara soon people will be asking you how to make these collars!
  2. OK the Rika du castel d' enfer is a very fussy breed lol.
  3. One thing Klara gluing in the round can cause the opposite reaction on the out side if you flatten it out or open it up to much so don't make it to tight it can cause compression on the outside good luck would like to see pics when it's done.
  4. lol Not sure what that means but I don't like the wrinkles either.
  5. I really don't think the dog would feel the wrinkles in a collar, it's kind of like the princess and the pea.
  6. I always glue up in the round but then I use a cylinder bed machine barge cement when dry enough you can use a piece of parchment paper so as not to miss stick pulling it out as you go along just leave the liner long and wide cut it of after works good for me.
  7. Nice work what kind of leather did you skive the gussets nice work
  8. Call Steve @ Cobra Machine
  9. that looks really nice ! would like to see some pics of the rest of the rig like hook up points that sort of thing looks like the black nylon strap go's around the back to the plastic buckle and a leather strap go's down to the belt to keep it from moving when you pull the gun out it looks really great thanks for showing
  10. Nice job nice dog to
  11. Gerry Spence might get the one on the right just to make people think .
  12. don't forget must stay tangent to the radius or you get behind or forward

  14. Time is money but besides all that what a nice looking belt I really like the contrasting leather nice belt Dwight.
  15. wow guess that was a bit over the top LOL thanks! that's funny
  16. I have used Texas custom dies and besides being right on accurate, the best price, fast shipping , and really great people to deal with, the dies are sharp strong and accurate , you cant go wrong with Texas Custom dies.
  17. John Bianchi gun leather comes to mind he sews them not sure how many he's made but I'll bet it's in the thousands ? I sew them to haven't had any bullets fall out of mine yet all that hole punching and weaving seams a bit bulky but people do have different opinions.
  18. I agree with Battlemunky the second picture is very important! the sheaths look very nice
  19. Nice job ! you got me back thinking seeing that nice work, I've got to make 3 rolls like that. thanks for showing.
  20. Magnets work yes but I think you will find just how much junk will stick to it I have done a lot with magnets and now every time i think of using a magnet I think again and find a different way that's my experience with them . also IMHO
  21. small amounts of oil warmed mixed with a small amount of warm water you don't want to flood it give it time . on the holsters i use 6-7 oz veg with 3-4 oz veg for liner the 3-4 makes great bullet loops also this combo makes a very nice holster very strong! That's a colt Anaconda with the leather combo 6-7and3-4 veg with roon finish the roon made it a lot more work but the color was worth it for sure.
