I did, believe me. Now, without any apology about dismissing my late 2015 order, they refuse to split down English Bridle leather Bellies. I have a limited budget, and want to get all WC English Bridle colors. The economical way to get all at once, is to get bellies in all colors and splited down to my desired thickness. I've requested to split down the bellies ( 5pcs -one of each color in two thicknesses =10 pcs) in 3/4 oz, and 5 pcs in 2/3 oz. No way to work it out. How it is possible that a company CAN split down a whole side, which includes a belly area, but don't want to do the same with just the bellies!? DID ANYONE requested bellies only, but splitted down with success at WC?

I'm in touch. but this doesn't lead anywhere. only disappointment..

BUT. no one force a company to buy very good or very bad leather. This is a matter of a seller - they get what they want - that is their right. Of course, it's good from seller side to inform that there are defects etc. Mostly.But when an artisan or other buyer pays for the product (the money which he earns not so easy way) and a seller from i'ts side make such mistakes, i beg a pardon - this seller is a liar and don't give much attention to the customers. Most artisans and other customers live and work in US, or close. In my case, I live far from US, even not in Europe. I pay a lot money for fright forwarding services and other delivery fees. So, when i receive a s**t, what i'm I suppose to do ? I would be happy to buy directly from manufacturer, but all we know, each of them has own selling policies and other terms.

so, you state that there is a difference between Tannery Row (the original) and the Maverick? how is it possible? don't the original source, in the meaning, provide A grade or the best? do they fool the buyers with the poor quality items?

guys what is CHAP leather? could you please clarify what is the difference between chap and the rest (veg, bridle, chrome) is it for tooling? can anyone share product photos made of chap leather? i'm confused

nope they refuse to split down bellies which is strange isn't it the part of a side? and the sides of course the split down.

this become a sales pattern from SLC. Few times also got what I didn't expect with bad surface. Too much negative feedbacks come from different buyers about SLC. In general, SLC is good. But the way they shoot out the goods to the customers, is not the way self-respected company should work.

and where do you buy Wicket&Craig leather from?
