  2. Instead of clicking "view new content" (top right of page), scroll down to the bottom of the forum and click "today's active topics". Posts from the last 24 hours are there. You can also "subscribe" to any topic you are interested in by clicking the "Watch this topic" button. The forum will ask you how you want to be notified, and when, and you click your choices. Hope this helps! Johanna

I wish I was, but Albuquerque is too far away from belgium (europe) :-((

  4. I think I'm caught up again. Let me know if you want access to the adult area. Johanna
  5. Funny how we go from being the kids trying not to get busted by Mom & Dad to being Mom & Dad trying not to get busted by the kids ...

  6. Caught up through 7pm eastern 9-14. If you don't see the NSFW section by the Marketplace, try logging out, then in again. Fair warning, jokes are really baaaad. Johanna
  7. Bless you for caring enough to want to help. Too many people fall through the cracks because people look the other way. I hope you are able to find him some assistance so he can heal. ~J
  8. What is the difference between Bird flu and Swine flu? You use tweetment for one and oinkment for the other!

  9. Inspirational. Excellent job designing and executing pattern. Very pleasing to the eye without seeming cluttered. This book will only look better as it is used and ages.
  10. Beautiful. Love the natural coloring because it brings out the detail so well. The swirls are elegant. Thank you for sharing!
  11. C'mon, folks! It's a holiday weekend in the US and not everyone is at their keyboard. I'm not, and I'm closing this thread. Jaime, please post your question again, and we'll take a deep breath and start over. Johanna Admin
  12. Closing this topic because the video is no longer available. Johanna
  13. I've just been through all the PMs, and everyone that asked should see the NSFW area of the forum. If anyone else wants in, just let me know. ~J
  14. If I promise not to learn any secret carving techniques (I can't carve at all), can I be a fly on the wall? Nevada in the winter sounds like a good plan, especially mixed with leather! Johanna
  15. Just like to remind everyone that if you use clear topic titles, your thread will get more attention and answers. "Help me!" doesn't jog anyone's memory.

  16. I think I'm all caught up again. If I got your message, you should see the NSFW area by the Marketplace on the main index page. If you don't, try logging out, then back in again. Let me know if I missed anyone or there are new requests- and you can do it privately or in this thread, ewhatever is more comfortable for you. No one will know you are a member of the adult section unless you post. Promise. Johanna
  17. Just to clear up any confusion- David Cole was"DCKNIVES" here on the forum. He was one of our earliest members, and he introduced me to many fine knife and sheath makers from the knife sites he prticipated on. He was generous with his expertise and kind with his words, and I'm going to miss him. Johanna
  18. Yep, what Cheryl from LNLeather said. The strap is just a nice touch. FYI- those braided straps don't pull hair like plain smooth ones do, so we long haired girls like them. Rounded braids are the very best. but hard to find, impossible on a mass produced purse. I'm glad my old man showed me how to do it myself. ~J
  19. I am very sad to hear that news. Prayers for his family and friends. He will be missed by many. Please let us know when arrangements are made so his friends can express their sorrow to his loved ones. Johanna
  20. To whet your appetite, check out pictures of some of the shows and museums here. The King Museum is a must- you could spend days in there and not see everything. Be sure to stop at Sheridan Leather Outfitters (On Coffeen Ave near the south exit from the highway) too. The owner's dad is Bob Douglas, and he has all sorts of interesting tools for sale. Better bring money.Their leather is nice, too.The Mill Inn may be historic and interesting, but I noticed it needed a lot of work that wasn't being done during my visit this spring. There are other convenient places to stay in town, and if you like the night life, the Best Western is within walking distance. We really missed Bobby when he never came up the hill! Have fun on your trip, and do not be fooled- Wall is not the Disneyworld of Wyoming the signs promise it to be. Take pics and let us know how things go! Johanna
  21. Saw this today: Thanks, Tandy! http://craftsatthemarketplace.com/lgames.html
  22. The value of the AS Home Study Corse wasn't so much in the lessons and patterns, it was in the personal feedback you received from Al, and later, Harry, as you completed your projects and sent them in. All of the info in the lessons is available in the other AS books. Johanna
  23. RIP Suze! We're going to miss you. Love, your Cuz.
