  8. I like that idea too and want to raise the question how would a piece qualify to make it into such a section? Voting, xx number of individual comments (who wants to count them;-), a jury etc? I'd definetly put my vote on this one!! Interesting words from you John and it'll be interesting to see what you will come up with! Keep it up!! Tom
  9. Hey, glad to see you're back Hedge!!! That is a sweet looking cartridge belt, love the applique lacing but now you got me thinking of stuff for the rifle sling I'm supposed to make and I wanna keep it cheap and simple, oh my oh my;-) Nice job!!!! Tom
  10. HA ha, good thinking Kate! I bought one of those some months back ago thinking it'll be useful for something but I was leaning towards odd tecniques of applying spirit dye but this is a brilliant idea. Good finding Kate, I'm gonna try it even tough I like my technique with wetting my leathers under the tap with running water. Tom

  20. I work as an operator at a papermachine drying section! Intense work sometimes and VERY hot environment too. Tom
  21. Good looking rifle sling! Think I'm gonna try one of theese with that has a separate strap at the bottom myself. Seem like it'll give better use of the hides. About hte beveling noted by Josh I'd like to fill in my best tip and that is to do it whilst the leather is pretty dry because if to wet you don't make good impression but rather push the mass of the leather to the sides making it impossible to avoid the "bumps". Tom
  22. VERY freaking cool and Spideresque my friend!!! Awsome to see some true Spiderwork!!! I like the skull detail where the strap is attached, the devil is in the detail, you know! Tom
  23. Very good looking South paw!!!! Good thing to separate the motifs from the background by adding the texture. It makes it "pop" alot more!!! Tom
