Really nice all the way around Freak. The deer is even smiling about it! LOL, JUST KIDDING! It looks really good and I love the woodgrain on the back.

Nice work!! -
Good looking holster. Nice stitching and a functional design. Very impressive for your first, much better than the first one I did. Keep it up.

Sharp looking and functional. Good work! -
Timbo, thanks for that link to "Farm Woodwork". I built mine using the plans in the back of "The Art of Handsewing Leather", but it only shows front legs. Thats the way I made it only to find out I didn't like it. Sure it wasn't to hard to fix, but if I had used these plans it would have been better in my opinion. Anyway, thanks again.

Very nice!! Clean lines and flawless execution. I also have to say that is one of the best meanders I've seen. Meanders are some of my favorite stamps and some of the hardest to use in my opinion. Great job.

Hey, everyone. I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and still live here. I am an 18 year veteran of the Lubbock Fire Department. By the way Randy, everyones likes firemen, but firemen love cops. You guys are always there when we need you, so THANKS!

Well I've said this before and I'll say it again, I'm jealous and amazed by the braiding you guys do an I gotta learn to do this!

Interesting concept. I would not have thought of skinning an animal that way, much less tanning it and turning it into a bag. As for the odor, a solution of baking soda and water to form a paste should work. Dry baking soda in a plastic bag would help also.

Kevin, just when I think you can't top yourself you go and do it! Absolutely awesome!! -
Thanks for the lesson Clay! Maybe I will try my hand at this now that someone has laid it out so well and made it look less intimidating. Warren

sheath for his Leatherman Super Tool
Warren replied to Grunt's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Nice work Nick! I made a folding knife sheath that was quite similar to yours. One thing I did different was to off-set the slots so that the sheath was angled on the belt making it easier to get out. And I know what you mean about TLF's leather. It's kind of hit or miss. -
Was to busy to call today and tomorrow doesn't look any better. Will have to wait until I have some time during the day. Maybe I will get a chance to call Friday while I'm at the fire station if we aren't to busy. Thanks all.
