  4. I've never used the ones from Tandy but have used Tracing Vellum and haven't had a problem using my inkjet printer. The package it came I'm even states that it can be used with an inkjet printer. I think I got it at Michael's. Chris

  7. My first job was digging ditches during the summer for my dad's irrigation business. I then started working at the newspaper and did that until I graduated high school. After that I worked at a bank in the stock and printing department. In 1978 I started my career as a firefighter/paramedic. Like most in the profession I always had a second job which varied from delivering for Sears to maintenance at a condo on the beach. My favorite part time job was as a flight medic on a trauma/advanced care helicopter at a Trauma Center. Retired in 2005 but due the downturn in 2008 I now find myself employed as an ICU monitor tech at the local hospital.

  11. Bob, I'm glad to hear that you have those available. I had looked for a good quality empty refillable marker on the internet and didn't see any that I felt would work for me. I'll send an email. Will these be available on your website in the future? Thanks, Chris

  14. Very nice project out of the scrap box. Unfortunately, the scrap box is where my projects end up! Chris
  15. I just got my press but only used it to set a snap to see how it worked so I don't know how much help I can be. The instructions were a little confusing (at least to me) on the which top half of the die to use. Maybe the wrong top half of the die was used. Chris
  16. After stitching the first or second one you would probably be pretty good at stitching! Chris

  18. I'm going to use a piece of horse trailer mat under my slab and I'm going to see how what's left over on my table to see how it works as a poundo board. It may work, it may not but I'll find out. Chris
  19. Go to youtube and search for leather burnishing. Adams Leatherworks has a one where he is using a burnisher in a drill press and may give you an idea of how the edge should look. Chris
  20. You cold run a couple of rows of basket weave stamping on a scrap of leather that's is longer than the area that will be left blank and use that as a guide where your stamping should start and stop. Chris
