  1. Welcome to the forum and greetings from Central Texas! Nice work you show there.
  2. I had Ms. Brenda at www.LaserGiftCreations.com (who made my maker stamps) cut out my templates for a bifold and roper wallet. it works like a charm! Good job.....you will enjoy it.
  3. My understanding is that there is a vendor overseas. Germany or Netherlands? Someone posted it on here quite a bit ago. I believe they said it was $150 plus shipping? I have always thought about having one of my swivel knifes converted, but I am particular about my collection. Either way, good luck!
  4. All videos listed here have been sold. I may have some more come up later on.
  5. If I may, I will throw my two cents in? I actually do a Spanish Round Braid on most of my lacing projects. I really like the way it looks compared to double and cordovan loop lacing techniques. JMPO I also use the smaller size chisel from the size of the lace that I am using, of course I use primarily 1/8", but I have 3/32" lace. As for the spacing, I usually use the thickness of the leather that I am trying to lace to provide me a good distance between the edge to my holes. Naturally, if the distance seems to shallow and I believe it can cause issues, I will select a more appropriate distance. It just depends. Finally, for any dark lace, I will color my edges to make sure if there are any gaps, the color will blend in with the lace. Anyways, it works for me, I hope it helps you.
  6. I know JBird and his words were not meant to belittle anyone. He is right, what cost him to run his shop will be different than me who runs my tooling bench out of the corner of the master bedroom. I think if Electrathon can sell the hell out of his wallets for his cost, well I am behind him! I believe it was merely competition as would anyone bidding on a job. But I can see PinkChaps side from the open field. The seeker put out an open request and he sought was he was looking for. He seems like a smart shopper. I am sure that he did not just go off word or replies alone. I am sure he was looking through everyone gallery or websites before any decisions were made. I am sure he has done his homework and knows what he wants and seeks. For the future, I do believe on open invitations for work, we should just send a PM and post that you have replied so others are aware. This will allow the opportunity to avoid these issues. Just my .02 cents! Good luck to all and Happy New Year!

  21. Hello and welcome to the forum. Greetings from Central Texas.
  22. I agree with TimK. You might want to search LW for the Vinegroon process? You might get a better result though I must say that I have never used it only because as TimK states my experience with black is not good especially if the dye is sitting on the top layer instead of down in the dermis fibers. I hope this helps.
