Can someone give me some feed back on what to use for the interior pieces. I don't have a splitter and I don't want to buy a big piece of leather. I am not sure what to do. Jim

Thank you for your input. I just purchased a HF air brush set, it coast me $89. I am going to use it for dyeing leather only. I will be using Fiebings oil dye. Do you cut it 50/50 with Fiebings reducer? Can you use any alcohol? Thank you all for the info. Jim

I was punching holes on my 2" granite slab with two pieces of 12 oz leather glued together.The granite cracked down the middle. I also broke a prong on my Tandy stitiching chisel.I use a log now.

I don't even want to meassure what is on the card, it is a joke.The spools hold 500m. I will gladly pay $20 shipping and get ten times the amount of thread for the money and get it only in 3 days, all the way from England. Jim

I sent for two spools of the Tiger Thread mentioned above and I love it. I broke a few needle eyes but not the thread. I needed black thread to finish a civil war cap pouch. I had to have it finished before the 28th of Sept. I was afraid that Abbey wouldn't send it in time. I purchased the same thread from Ebay figuring I would get it sooner from E-Bay. I was wrong, Abbry sent me the thread in three days, I live in the USA, NJ. It only cost me $20 for shipping, two spools thread and a few buckles. They are large spools 0.8mm 500m for $16.73, I feel it is well worth it compared to the thread I was getting from Tandy's . Jim

Hi All, I am looking to make wallets out of Bison. I have a few questions? I was thinking 3 to 3.5 oz. If I buy a bend will I be able to use the same piece for the inside pockets?Will it be to thick? They have some posted on the Hide House for $147 I think that was the site I checked. My second question, since I will have a lot left, can I wet mold it for small cases? Thank you. Jim

I want to make a few wallets and some small cases from 3.5 Bison.. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a whole hide. This will be my first attempt at wallets. Can anyone give me a place that will sell me a half peace. Thank in advance.
