  1. While having physical rehab on my shoulder the place I went to had some elastic strips of different widths and colors that were used for rehab exercises. They recommended that we purchase some of these to keep up the rehab at home. Based on their recommendation I found mine at a sporting goods store. These are pretty strong bands, about 3 to 4 ft. in length. The strength varies with the width of course. They come in several colors, no black though. Based on my use of them I think that they will last a very long time. Maybe these could work for you. rick
  2. Try this link and contact the Sweetwater Jaycees and see if they can provide the name of someone who might be able to provide some skins for you. They have a great number of vendors associated with the Rattlesnake Roundup who buy and sell skins and may be able to give you the name of someone from the El Paso area. http://www.rattlesnakeroundup.net/ Hope this helps some. rick

  7. Hi David and welcome. If you don't have any experience a good way to get started is to go to Tandy, pick out a kit that interests you and start with that. Most kits have everything that you need for the project and include instructions. The Tandy staff should be able to help you choose a good beginning kit. You didn't say where you are located, but ask around to see if there is a leather club or guild in your area. There are some really good ones out there and if they are like the one I belong to pretty much any member will be willing to help you get started. Hope this helps a little. Be sure to let us know how it goes. rick
