This is a motorcycle seat done by Xian Leather and in my opinion is a work of art... He amazes me, with every piece he does seems to get better! Motorcycle Seat

Does anyone have a shoulder holster pattern? I have a customer who wants a shoulder holster made. To make it more interesting I have never made one and the customer weighs about 500 pounds so any pattern I get will still have to be modified.. They dont make shoulder holsters this big or not that the customer can find. Any help would be appreciated!!

Okay, how about a pattern for a dog muzzle?
BradB replied to VonFuct's topic in Patterns and Templates
you could always call that Dog Whisperer guy! :-P Crating does not always work either, Tucker (my profile pic) learned how to get out of his crate. He would flip it over, get the tray out of the bottom and then get the bottom loose. This was one of the big wire crates... I should have named him Houdini as he gets out of anything.. -
That Looks Really Cool!!

I cant see the pics either... What movie was this made for?? -
That sounds like a good price! Didn't mean to hijack your thread, I just figured posting what I had done and getting everyones opinion on what it was worth would be of help to you!! Make sure you post pictures of it when your done!! As a suggestion, if you don't have a pattern, I went to a music store and got a cheap leather strap from fender for under $20 and used it as a starting pattern.

Those Bracers look awesome, great job. It is a shame you didn't get to wear them!

I had not thought of it that way but you are right, thanks!

Wow, thanks for the compliment and the info! I am always way to critical of my work, which makes pricing difficult...
-
Thanks! This was the friends and family price, not sure what I would charge a regular customer, what would you charge for it?
-
I charged $100 for this one, it was done for a buddy so he got the friends and family rate, he had no problem with the price especially once he saw it. It is lined, padded, extra wide.and handstitched.

I have an Iphone 3g (price has dropped to $99, with the new version 3g S coming out). It has a kindle app that you can load, I have it loaded and have read 4 books so far and it is really great. I was thinking of getting a Kindle (they are very nice, I borrowed a friends), but the Iphone app works great for me!

That looks great, that will surely impress potential customers!! -
Thanks Ryan! After poking around and looking at pictures of other machines that is what I was thinking as well. There is another company called sailrite that makes a singer 111 knock off that looks similar and has a video, I am hoping the Merc does as well. If it does then we got an awesome deal! The sailrite looks like a good deal at 699.00 Here is the page with the video: sailrite 111 At the least I have to good industrial sewing tables! :-)

Well my wife bouthgt 2 sewing machines for $100 each. one was the Consew 817 (which is a hemmer) and the other is Mercury M-111. I am most interested in the M-111 but can not find any information on that model, but it is an industrial machine. Does anyone know where I maybe able to find information on the Mercury M-111?

Any information would be great I dont want to pass up a good deal but I dont have alot of extra money laying around at the moment either. Thanks In Advance!
