  1. I have read it somewhere but now I cant find it... and the side I have is thick and I cant seem to see which way it stretches. Does a side stretch front to back or top to bottom?
  2. Welcome! I leave in Vancouver, Wa. I actually found your website just prior to you joining the forums, very nice work!
  3. We have a couple pairs of the Skil power scissors and they will cut through light leather rather well, my wife uses them mainly for fabric. BUT, I see a new item on my Christmas list!!! Thanks for posting the link!!

  6. Thanks, there are 2 layers on the each inside giving 2 pockets. I was going to make one side with slits for credit cards bit I didn't want to screw it up so I just made them pockets.
  7. Started out as a biker wallet but everyone makes the same old squarish shaped ones so I shaved the sides giving it some shape. The outer piece of leather was a scrap piece that was sort of beat up and had scars so I just added some more texture. Shell is 8 oz and interior is a 5oz. all hand stitched!
  8. There is one used on amazon for $45 http://www.amazon.com/Leather-secrets-Floy...1987&sr=1-1

  14. You are right Brent, something does look a miss compared to this 1974 Sporster XLCH, the rear shock appears to be at a slightly different angle:
  15. I was at work the other day and was in the supply area and they had some of the finger covers used for counting paper, etc. I thought they might work well so I grabbed 2 of them and tried then one on my thumb and the other on my index finger and they worked great, next time I am at Costco or office depot I am going to buy a box of them. Your hands do not get hot and they grab the needle really really well. I actually like them better than the surgical gloves. Give them a try and let me know what you think!! Brad
  16. Going to a Halloween party this evening and dressing as a cowboy and the wife said I needed a holster. Since I will be drinking beer or soda tonight I figured I would make a can holster out of scraps!! I will probably only wear it tonight, unless it works well, if so then I will make a better one with insulation that wraps all the way around to keep the beer cold. This was quick and dirty with scraps. Brad
