  1. Yes it will handle #138 thread. You have to enlarge the hole in the inner presser foot and the feed dog. I sewed all day long with mine using #138 thread but had to make those modifications. Plus, there is a small tab that holds the bobbin case in place. These machines do not have a bobbin case opener like a vertical hook machine. You have to round the square ends ever so slight on the end of that little finger ever so slightly to allow the thread to pass at both the back and the front of that little finger. I even touched the length of the finger ever so slightly with a dremel and drum sander attachment. That whole procedure allow the thicker thread to pass by it better. glenn
  2. There is a very small spring at the bottom of the post. See if anything got under it by removing the bobbin case and looking at the spring in the small access hole glenn
  3. That machine should have a servo motor on it. The household motor and foot pedal will get burned up over time. Not heavy enough. glenn
  4. great. glenn
  5. You may have to time it in reverse. When reverse lever is engaged, it moves the feed dog. glenn
  6. Julien. please take a short video of your machine and what it is doing. Thank you. glenn
  7. Humm. the foot is not walking at all. I have to look at another video of another machine. This one has got me stomped!! glenn
  8. The Techsew is a clone of the Juki. It has the dial on top for raising the the height of the walk. Both good machines. How much difference in price between the two? I believe the Techsew also has a longer stitch length and higher lift than the Juki but it is a clone!! glenn
  9. Your following gear teeth are chewed up. I have them. Make sure the set screw holding the drive gear onto the shuttle carrier shaft is all the way in. If it sticks out any at all, it will stop the gear from turning. glenn
  10. You have a part number? glenn
  11. It's what applies pressure to the outside foot and will effect the feeding of the material you are sewing. glenn
  12. bar should be remove to determine the length and the diameter of the bar. Consew made a copy of this machine. glenn
  13. Double needle walking foot machine. H3 so 11mm height of foot. 6mm max. stitch length. glenn
  14. The Bell crank made today is for the later 29K models. The one you get today will not fit your machine without a lot of grinding. Just so you know. glenn
  15. Use a sized wrench instead of a crescent wrench. Works better. glenn
  16. I do not use one but it should bring more. If you can get it for $400.00, grab it. My expertise is in sewing machines. glenn
  17. Worth a lot more that. New they can approach $2,000.00. Italian made they were. glenn
  18. give MJ Foley a call and ask for Give MJ Foley a call. Ask for Luke. They were the largest Pfaff dealer in the US at one time, glenn
  19. You want to use a penetrating oil on it. WD40 is not it. The best you can buy Is Kroil Oil. But NOT CHEAP!!! glenn
  20. I would call Consew and see what a genuine needle bar #10530 bar cost. Then I would call Henderson Sewing in Alabama. They showed a generic one in that catalogue. Price and availability will determine whee you get it. Also, check your bobbin supply and if you need any, order them as well. glenn
  21. Use Greased Lighting and sewing oil to clean up the machine. Call Consew direct and sew what the prices are for the part. The needle bar part is indeed #10530. see if they changed it. glenn
  22. The needle is not in alignment with the feed dog hole . The clamp screw to undo the needle bar in the rock frame is behind the little plate next to the reverse lever if I remember correctly. Loosen that screw and then you have to slowly by hand turn the wheel towards you which will make the needle descend. You then center the needle in the feed dog and tighten the clamp slightly. Turn the wheel again by hand and check the alignment. If good, tighten the clamp. However, you have to make sure the feed dog is correctly positioned before doing any of this. glenn
  23. I have the parts list and the operations manual for the 105-64. Only in hard copy though. glenn
