  1. Tapered pin #2049 is the pin for the shuttle driver. You could find a long generic tapered pin and insert. These are hardened so you will need a Dremel to cut it off and sand the ends. May still be available. Call Cowboy Bob. glenn
  2. I would keep it. Rare to find them. glenn
  3. They are in Cincinnati, Ohio. They bought up Schwabe and rebuild machines. Name of the company is Freeman Schwabe. glenn
  4. To increase the boom cutting width, you can go up to 2" wider on each side without losing cutting power meaning if boom is 16" wide left to right, you could go up to 20" wide without losing cutting power. Since you are replacing the plate, now is the time to widen the plate. glenn
  5. I would say $1,500.00-$1,800.00US retail. The 205-64 would be worth a little more. These are just ballpark figures. glenn
  6. C, I think the machine could be salvaged. The bobbin winder is not critical. The tension assembly could be gotten. Same as on a Patent elastic by Claes. It is on an Adler Stand. Other bobbin winder could be used. Patent elastic bobbin winder ,( and I mean the manual one) , could be used. If I had it here in the USA, I could rebuild it. The hook, bobbin and throat plate can still be gotten as you know C. If price is low enough, I would get it if I were him. Early Claes parts are on Ebay.de. I have seen them and Eric has ordered some of them C. glenn

  8. we need a copy for our files here on The Leatherworker.net glenn
  9. You could take a 3/8 bolt and turn it down on a lathe and put the threads in it. A machinist can do it if you cannot. You need it to run the machine. Have a nut made as well. glenn
  10. OK the screw part is SS#431 singer special screw. I happen to have book on the special singer screws specs over all length is 33.6MM. threads are 11/32" x 28tpi. threads 20mm long bulb end on the screw. Hope that helps. glenn

  13. Long arm. Need to see a better pic of the end of horn. Either 29K55, 56, 60, 62, 72, 73. The squarish of the horn leads me to say 60.62, 72, 73. Bobbin size will narrow it down more. glenn

  19. Smallest needle you can use #138 on is #22. I use #23 titanium coated. Less deflection and the coating makes the needle slide easier thru leather. glenn
  20. You put a detailed email of your experiences in a text with back up info and send to the President of Tippman. I would be screaming all kinds of BS for the way you have been treated. You are not in the States which may make it a little harder but STILL!!! glenn
