I think I dust my work out machine more then I use it, after the new year I need to make room for a cylinder sewing machine so I might have to get rid of the machine and join a gym. Might make me work out more if I am paying for it, that stitching clam is beautiful @Mjolnir what kind of paint do you use when you are brush?

I have the same exact weight machine in my work area plus a weight bench and other equipment, duel purpose room. Wow you fit a lot of machines in that room very well organized.

This has to be one of the nicest tools bags never heard of them, I looked them up they make some really nice stuff a little pricey but they look very well made.

When I started this hobby I was really into Hi-end audio equipment that was just to expensive. Being a tool&die maker by trade I have always like making things so I figured I would try leather working it's probably cheaper. Boy was I wrong now I am going to buy my first industrial sewing machine after the holidays. I love it though it keeps me busy and I have something to show for it.

Love the Bruce Lee flag, I own ever one of his movies and a lot of books, a buddy of mine took a picture of his grave site next to Brandons and made a nice black and white picture. This has to be the best thread ever that was made love seeing everyones shops.

Here is my little area its a office space off the master bedroom, my favorite thing I did was hook a roll of craft paper on a curtain rod for gluing and dying.

If the piece is straight put a piece of wood along the edge then take another piece that isnt as high and thats 1.5mm thick and space the tool over

I have hand sewed 3 bags so far, it doesn't hurt my hands but very time consuming. I would like to dive into bigger projects but haven't for this reason saving up for a Cowboy 227r or a Techsew

I have yet to buy my first machine but am soon. I run a 5000 watt CO2 laser and these could easily be cut the blanks out and then mill and drill the step out. I can't wait to buy a machine to make some diy parts. -

Has anyone heard of the Yamata fy335 cylinder sewing machine? If so are they anygood it looks to be slightly smaller then the Cowboy 227. Thanks for any info.

There is someone in my area selling a used Consew 206RB-1 for $700 it comes with a clutch motor and table. The motor is 2yrs old. The machine looks to be in great condition, a small upholstery shop is selling it. Is this a reasonable price for this? Would love some input before I jump on this. Thanks
