Thank you! Apparently they are out of stock on both colors. In addition I saw their Whiskey color which I think I'd like but they are also out of stock on that. I've bookmarked their store and will check back periodically to see when it comes back in stock.
This wallet has no special tooling or design work, is simple, but the leather is fabulous.
The exterior wallet is made from 5 oz Badalassi Carlo Pueblo (Italian) in violet and 2.5 oz Alran Chevre Chagrin Sully (French). Both leathers feel luxurious and are easy to work with including cutting, edge skiving and burnishing.
If you're willing to split them up I'm interested in: 2003, 2006, 2021, 2066, and 2063. Message me with your email address and the total and I can pay with PayPal and sending mailing address when I do that?
I have some of these in the first group but I would be interested in 2063 from the first group. 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2066 from the second group. I can't see in the second group what 2021, 2019 are so not sure on those.
I have quite a few of Sergey's stamps. They are excellent and I love them. They are definitely worth the wait from Bulgaria. I got my makers mark from Leather Stamp Maker - https://www.leatherstampmaker.com/ He did a wonderful job on it.
@Rbarleatherworks A very tedious process.
I did the beveling with A98 and A99 throughout the piece and I used a small pear shader for detail.
I used PB011 and PB012 to do the backgrounding. These are very small backgrounders so it felt like it took forever.
I used very small detail brushes to dye the background mahogany, left the rest natural and sealed with RTC.
@Elvis It was Horween but as far as what Horween I'd have to go back and look at receipts to refresh my memory. When I started doing leather I didn't pay attention to those kinds of details like I do now. I went by how it felt and moved in my hand when I purchased finished leather.
Goldstar Tool. I have their press also. I love it and the dies they have.
I have purchased snaps from them but they seem a little weak. Sometimes the back bends when I'm releasing a snap on thinner materials. I'm working through them and have purchased new line 20s from ahkwokbuckles.com and they look better than the Goldstar snaps. I haven't tested any of them yet but they look a little sturdier than the Goldstar snaps.
