  2. very cool indeed what a great idea to fancy up that military pattern. Tell us more , leather , dye etc...
  3. thank you ! I'm glad you like it give er heck and let me know if there are any problems at all.
  4. How thick of leather? i use different blades for different thicknesses. on real thin stuff just scissors.
  5. if your going to be doing a lot of quilting i would suggest the stamp or stamps, if not its takes more time but it can easily be done without one. As seen on this thread you need two for square or diamond but by hand you can do any four or three, five cornered quilt pattern without being held to just two more exacting shapes.
  6. Put in plenty of power outlets and maybe some 220. Electricity is an expensive part of your building but much cheaper to do it in the beginning than later on.
  7. that's pretty fine work there indeed.
  8. Heck no and I actually made three so far two are being tested as we speak. They look a lot shinier in person too.
  9. thanks I'm sure it will get a good patina too, that hammered brass pommel will look sharp with some age

  13. thanks it does even out a bit in a few days. thank you!
  14. Just finished this for a fellow. He brought over an old Indian river knife kit blade he had laying around for years. it cleaned up real nice. He just wanted simple leather so i made this also. For those wondering the wider snap loop has a function it is because the knife is handle heavy so if i were to put a standard loop at the bottom of the handle the sheath would tend to tilt. raising and widening the loop puts the balance point higher solving the problem. Sheath 9 oz with canyon tan, water proofed with mink oil and ready for the hunt.
  15. I made a few of these for some folks and tested them a bit, my thoughts are that it is a very good blade design and makes for a really nice push knife. With a handle it is still Small and comfortable to use. It would rock with thinner leathers especially.
  16. that looks great! all you need to add are some knife cuts around the seeder.
  17. beautiful case and a fine rifle also. I'm not smirking i have three air rifles and one air pistol. None as nice as yours however.
  18. of course head shape and axe function also affects design of the sheath. These are made to carry on a belt for example.
  19. dog gone you i just woke up now i am craving a nice chop with a couple fried eggs on top lol, those look yummy indeed!! Awesome grill!! We are heading out for some bird hunting this morning.
