  5. Well I think its a nice sheath but theres so much clutter in the picture its hard to tell. Compliment your work with a nice clean back ground when you photograph it. JMHO
  6. I looked at most of those videos and they all pertain to making bellows. Like I said I am not god at figuring this stuff out, so for me trying to break it apart and then resize it to what I need. well you know ant't gonna happen.Thanx for tryin tho
  7. Absolutely Beautiful work. I'm so jealous of people that can do work like this
  8. Right I never worry about getting to wet. Heres a tip if drying time or humidity is a concern you can pop it in the oven for a few hours. Low heat lowest your oven will go.Check it every hour or so. If you have heat vents in the floor and its winter set it on the heat vent till dry. I live in the desert allso Lots of hot sun. I wet mold in the morning then set out in the sun, pull out the what ever late afternoon let set till midday next and your golden. Also you can make a drying box out of cardboard and a hair dryer, works awasome.
  9. its real easy to mold by hand. I just soak the holster in pretty warm water for about a min, then I use a Sharpie and the wood handles of my leather tools to form it. Takes no time at all.
  10. Thanx TOXO Well it does and it doesn't Im not good at figuring out this kinda stuff. Looks like I'd half to take one section out and then change all the dimensions to the size of a credit card.I haven't a clue anyone good at this stuff?

  12. I wanna try to make something like this, but haven't a clue on how to make the card pockets like this. I wonder if you can buy them pre made and sew them in or something
  13. No its not real leather, not sure what its made from, I glued it to so veg tan tho. I have ordered real snake skin hide for the next on.
  14. are you going into holster production for a business? I just wet my holster and form by hand, no need for a vacuum, unless you plane on doing a lot in a day.
  15. Thanx guys appreciate the comments
  16. I got a couple sq's of this faux Rattle Snake Skin. Wanted to see what it looked like and how it would form for molded knife sheaths.Glued and stitched to 5 to 6 oz Veg tan. The sq's were cheap so I didn't expect much. But it didn't turn out to bad. I'll probably get some flak on my choice of thread but thats OK .
