  1. I've been cutting and engraving veg tan leather for years and my exhaust is not the best. really no problems with the fumes , you might not like the smell, doesn't bother me. You do not want to cut or engrave chrome tan as those fumes will bother you.
  2. Well you guys got me lookin and yes the stitch holes aren't very becoming. So I said to myself is there anything I can do to fix this. Then I came up with this really brilliant idea to try and cover up the holes some how, and decided to edge kote them. WRONGIdeaGood thing this is not for anyone but me and will hang in a closed closet, never to see the light of day again.
  3. Well to be honest I'm probably not going to make any more of this type. This ones for me and its really just to hold the gun. I'm not going to wear it anywhere LOL.Just wanted something to put it in .I'm not in business, I'm old and this is just something I do for fun.
  4. I don't have a vacuum machine, and I'm at a total loss as to how you could possibly mold the holster before sewing and then fold it over and get it thru the loops. Please tell me how this is done? tried to look at your website got a 404 error. did you take it down?

  7. this will do the trickhttps://www.amazon.com/Marlow-White-Clear-Military-Police/dp/B0725BR2F3/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=hat+rain+cover&qid=1623221322&sr=8-5
  8. Old Post I know but ,Some here are saying engraving the leather will weaken it. This may be true if your engraving very thin leather, but if your engraving 4oz or more veg tan leather , engraving is not gonna really be a factor in its strength for most applications, like Holsters, wallets , bike seats what ever. Someone wanted pictures of a used wallet. This is one I did about 5 years ago, Its in my pocket everyday. As you can see its well worn, but the engraving even the fine lines still show up very well and I'm sure will continue to do so.
  9. what ever you do don't buy a glowforge, there way over priced and are basicly junk.
  10. have you considered a 40 watt co2 like a K40 , I mean if your looking at over 300 for a diode for a couple more bucks you get a faster larger co2 and you can do a lot more with it
  11. Broadway and MGM movie actor Christian Haren won the role as the first Marlboro Man in the early 1960s as he looked the part. Burnett then came across Darrell ...
  12. sno-seal would do a good job of protecting it
  13. Sewing the edges is not for show. Its to make sure it holds up out in the field . The putting it on and taking it off a belt and the constant drawing and holstering of the weapon, takes it toll on the holster and the edges will start to come apart. He could still sew the edges on this one if he so desired .Not hard to do. Again JMHO.
  14. jmo but I think it would look better if you sewed the outside edges also.
  15. That is so awesome, hope it makes the puppy feel better. Good job
