  22. I would go for at least 3/4" - 1" in width. You can double up on the thickness by laminating it. I would also put two handles on it...one lower so you can have him heel. The other allowing him a little freedom.
  23. nice looking rig indeed. Is the belt made from a piece of folded leather? I only see one stitch line; on the top. Is this for the money belt portion? Can you post some pics of the inside showing how you did the money belt?
  24. just recently had a client wanting a gun belt with attached holsters and bandelero loops. He said he found some cheap ones online for $150ish. He said the good ones were $400ish but had a 12-16 week leadtime. I told him he was in luck...I only charged $350 and could have it done in 5-6 weeks. He was pleasantly surprised and gave me his business. Pleased as punch..
