Finished this up for a client. First big project on the Class 4. Used the new attachments from @Patrick1 that @Tim Schroeder recommended. 277 top thread, 207 bottom thread, 25 needle. Drum dyed Hermann Oak, except liner. it's for a Ruger .45 LC Single Action. Customer signed the invoice before he left. Scanned it the signature to use for laser engraving his name inside. Burned off the thread ends after pics.

Thank you so much. I haven't done a stitch of two ends yet. So the bottom is not sewn to sides, just friction fit?

can you point me in the right direction for a "How To"? I have several projects I am currently working on, but always like to have a "new" project lined up. I only have about 30 as of now. Can always use 1 more.

Beautifully done. I haven't had time to investigate the airbrush or invest in the equipment yet. I purchased the items for the vacuum system, but have yet to even unbox it. Hopefully in the next month, I can get to it.

I use tokonole and slick it down. I don't have a glass slicker so I use a boning tool.

Looking good. How did you secure the two ends of the keeper? holes look centered and spaced equally. Nice job. Something to consider on the dye...I cut mine 50/50 with isopropyl alcohol. It's not quite as dark with a single coat, gives me some options to go darker if desired.

I have to agree. Keep in mind, folks outside of leather are not familiar with the tasks required to get the intended results. i have seen folks go gaa gaa over an embossed belt. I just recently finished a dog leash with a simple meander pattern. Lots of folks really liked it. On the other hand, I have spent quite a bit of time with a scrap piece of leather either carving patterns or stamping patterns trying to come up with one I haven't done before.
