  3. Hello OSW, now that the people have spoken.......it's not your fault. Please call me and I will give you all the info that you need to help you make a decision. Thank you.
  4. I still think the lifetime warranty and our outstanding Customer Service should be the deciding factor. Why don't you give me a call Oldsetterswood.
  5. It's always better to go with a new machine because of the lifetime warranty & Customer Service. There is no way to find out the age of a used machine. You will have no regrets with the COBRA Class 4. Guaranteed!
  6. Here is some information on the new COBRA Class 20! Feel free to contact me at any time! Thanks Cobra Steve
  7. If you are using a #46 thread in the bobbin and a #92 thread on top, then I believe that the #46 thread is too small for the hole that the #18 needle punches. You should use a #69 thread in the bobbin which will help fill in the hole.
  8. As Wiz said, it probably takes the 135 system needle unless it was never changed from the 29X1 or 29X 3 system, but most of the Singer patch machines have been converted.
  9. Every industrial sewing machine store usually have these parts in stock. I know we do as well. Try your local dealer if you have one, or try the dealers that advertise on this site.
  10. We also have the knob that is used for turning most hand wheels. We also have the extension arm to make it easier to turn than the knob. We have done both styles many times.
  11. Thanks Colt! Takes one to know one!
  12. Hi Wendy. We are in Southern Ca. as well. We have a used Artisan 3200 for sale if you are interested. Please call me for more info. Thanks, Steve
  13. I agree with both Ronnie and Art. Most of our bag making customers have both machines but I would purchase the cylinder arm machine, like the COBRA Class 4 first. Versatility is the key. Go to our website and go to the video page, there is a lady by the name of Hedley Pepper making a purse/bag.
  14. Try tightening your top tension.
  15. Hello fenceguy1984. Contact all of he advertisers on this site. We all are knowledgeable, and will give you our best advice.
  16. Welcome Peder. There are a lot of good people here and good info as well.
  17. Hello. It sounds like you need an open toe center foot. This will allow you to see the needle enter the leather. We have the presser feet that you need. I know you are in Ireland but I don't know what the cost would be to send them there.
  18. Hi Gary. You should call all of the advertisers on this sight and get all of the info you can on the machine that you are interested in. We all have good reputations and will give our knowledge freely.
  19. The Rex 26-188 is a copy of the Singer 16-188 so you can still get some parts for it. You can make the teeth rounded instead of sharp but it will still mark leather but not as much. I agree with Wiz regarding triple feed machines.
  20. Eric's right. Also check the finger on the basket that fits in the cutout under the needle plate. Sometimes you have to take a shade off the cutout to allow heavier thread to pass through. Keep in mind that you should only use 138 top and bottom for maximum efficiency. Thanks, Steve
  21. Hello. Our AK 20 Strap Cutting Machine has a 14 inch cutting space that is capable of cutting 16 oz. leather as well as paper, plus many other materials. Also, upon request, we offer a reversible motor. Thanks, Steve
  22. I have a Red Flyer Wagon, and a Red Razor Scooter, so my preference is Blue.
  23. It could be one of the following: hook timing, thread caught in the hook, or a burr.
  24. We have the shorter center foot for the 206. Call me if you need one.
