  1. Was asking to make sure you weren't buying a new one instead of shimming out the old one to get the reverse stitches to line up.
  2. If you don't mind why are you replacing it?
  3. Tandy on certain stamps are crazy on their price, Best place I've found is StecksStore.
  4. I'm not knocking you for the link because of what it says but I think the description is wrong unless I am wrong about my thinking of what a steep bevel is.
  5. Another thing is to who suggested going to a bigger needle is right and whether true or not I've read on a lot of forums and everyone points the finger at black thread that because it is is dyed so long to get the full color that it makes it a PITA to sew and everyone says go with a bigger needle. A video is worth a thousand words that every time I watch it I find something else. Just got a roll of black thread so I know what to watch for.
  6. Did holding the thread forward and to the right when starting help? I mean putting your arm through the arm gap and hold the thread forward and to the right.
  7. Another thing I noticed is get rid of the death grip on the thread and let the material feed naturally. You don't to pull the thread just hold in place for the first couple stitches then let it go. How tight are the stitches (tension) and where is the knot placement, is it evenly centered? Re watched and found another problem, when you start regardless of direction the thread should be held out in front of arm and slightly to the right. The way you're holding it is maybe the reason it's breaking because no matter the direction of sewing the hook spins in the same direction and it's probably catching the tail and winding it around the hook till it breaks.
  8. I probably didn't put in right section. It's ten times the machine compared to the new garbage plastic ones. This one works great on thinner stuff like wallet interiors or canvas bags. It did not like 138 to much and on certain things was OK but definitely likes 92 thread much better. Thanks Wiz
  9. Not mine but it's identical to this.
  10. Thanks Chuck I guess I should got more info first but I went off what the pictures looked like instead of checking out what sizes they were. I'll add them to the don't need or use growing pile. Live and learn the expensive way.
  11. That's what I bought these for was to fill in some holes for my Sheridan collection until I got them and seen how small they are.
  12. What ever was originally on it from new 60-70 years ago. I think it's a pot or potted(?) motor and foot pedal. To use to turn on and off or for general protection for machine?
  13. I think I had a different thought of what figure stamps are (I thought small meant figure) but what in the hell are those little stamps that I got are used for?
  14. Does a machine like that draw power plugged in or only when it's being used?
  15. I tried to upload some pictures after compressing and surprised that they wouldn't upload but I had already done @Sheilajeanne way of doing it so now I know.

    New wallet

Did you oil or use any type of top coat or is it natural?
  17. What weight did you use on the holster? Red thread on black has a nice pop to it Freestyle sewing?.
  18. mules foot 858 camo 430 bevelers 894 200 203 seeder? 706 not sure what 102 1/2, 102, 631, 104, veiner 821, 406, 746 don't know 59 basket weavex500-2
  19. Best I could get. On the golf ball picture the beveler doesn't have a scratch it's a mistake from the paint thing trying to down size pictures.
  20. Got a question, does figure carving mean that the stamps are super, super small because I thought I got a bunch of normal stamps off Ebay till I got the surprise when I opened the box? Like 20ish little surprises.
