Argggg !! I wrote a reply and when i hit reply i realized i lost my freakin connection. I'm glad you posted some of your work Kate. I love seeing your work. I for one can't wait to see it after you've added color. Your tooling and designs are one of the cleanest i've seen and the way you color your projects really bring them to their own. Braveau !!

I've had a few people ask me about a pattern for the coffin notebook. Basically i just made sure a 5"X8" pad would fit. Then added half an inch for the binder. Folded a big piece of paper, lined the binder edge up with the fold. Marked and cut , then when you open that you have a full pattern. Hope that made sense. I marked some lines and added some measurements then scanned it. If i left any thing off or if anyone needs more info i'll be happy to give it. I'll even add the skull i did on the back for ya. have fun ........

I've never reduced it but after ever use i swear i'm going to next time. argggg!!! I"ve always buffed in between coats. Am i doing it rite, heck i have no idea. I hope someone with experience chimes in here as i 'de like to know as well.

Flippin wicked man !!!!!!! That color is dead on. What color is that , is it dye,stain,paint, what. How did you apply it ?? What weight of leather are you using ? how long did it take ? What did you eat for lunch that day ? I've always wonder when one makes a wild mask, how close is it to what you where going for ?

I get most of my idea from ink sites and local slingers. I love to go into shops and walk around looking at all the art on the walls and what have you. I think you've really hit something here. I also think i used to long of lace, i should of made my runs shorter. But, i'll keep your words and not lace or the work station. That makes for good advise that i never thought of, thanks.

This was one of the hardest things for me to understand and still is in times. I think for the most part it's what color or shade of color you're looking for. Then it's what works for you. Sorry i don't really have an answer but i can't wait to see what others with more experience suggest.
