This is plain and simple....exquisite elegant and beautiful. The combinations of the wood leather and steel, make this a beautiful piece of art. Ken -

Great looking work DENEKEN, the armour looks like a lot of time went into it. What type of leather did you use for the softer part of the bags? it looks quite nice. Ken

If I have to trace a pattern that's bigger than an 8 1/2" x 11" shhet of paper, I'll tape however many pieces of paper edge to edge, put small alignment marks on each corner of the papers and then you can trace away each section, then re-tape them together to get the full sized version. Hope that makes sense. Ken

Yes Richard, the pics are a bit fuzzy but from what I can see they all look real good. I like the third wrist band the best, the tri-weave and color look real good. Ken -

Beaverslayer replied to rdb's topic in Dyes, Antiques, Stains, Glues, Waxes, Finishes and Conditioners.
That turned out real fine rdb, the black is actually one I like, not that shiny we all know and hate. Thanks for doing the test project and letting us all know the results. Ken -

Came out "Pretty" good.....that is a "Beautiful" work of Art. I'm amazed at the detail, coloring, and the Sheep head. Some one is going to have a lifelong treasure with this. Beautiful, thanks for posting the pictures. Ken

Very very nice work, the mask must have been a real challenge to keep all that carving from getting ruined. About the two pictures, I think they would actually look real good with just a light antiqueing, and hang them as is, no frame or anything. I think this will look as good as if they were in frames. They have a real nice flow to them with the way the pieces of leather are shaped already. Ken

Harvey's Portfolio
Beaverslayer replied to bruce johnson's topic in Books, Journals and Photo Albums
Beautiful work Harvey, I like the attention to detail. As far as counting the mistakes, I stared at this for quite some time, and it may be my old eyes, but I really don't see anything that could be considered a mistake. Thanks for sharing with us, and hope to see more. Ken
