  1. My guess is that you have Netflix running (maybe in the background) and it is programmed to keep the volume controls on top of all windows. I've seen similar behaviour from other software where it won't let you bring another window to the front. It has nothing to do with Leatherworker.net.
  2. Need a lot more information to be able to understand and to help you. What type of device are you using? What operating system? What browser? Do a screen capture and post it so we can see what your box is.
  3. @Patrick1 Moved this post to leather sewing machines so it doesn't get archived in old/sold and so you maybe get a little more exposure here.
  4. @Gulrok Moved your post to business and estate sales.
  5. Thanks, moved to Computer Help
  6. His IP Address indicates he may be in the Santa Barbara, California, 93103 area. @leatherworker2 You need to post your location. For all we know you are in Mars or some other spot in the universe. This is a global forum. You may add your location to your profile.
  7. @Wozzer Moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines. Help wanted is like the classifieds in a newspaper, people looking for work, or job posting sort of thing. All posts to Help Wanted require a moderators' approval before they become visible. Since you are a member, you can post in any of the other forums without having to have the posts approved. Lots of sewing machine guys here to give you a hand.
  8. I get less bounce with a good dead blow hammer, and therefore fewer ghost imprints.
  9. 2 things affect the amount displayed on your computer screen. 1. the width of your browser window (Windows operating systems at least) and 2. how much you have zoomed in to see text or photos larger. The page is programmed to fit according to the browser's window.
  10. @LadyWinifred moved your post to leather sewing machines.
  11. As Fred says, the edit button is only available for a short time, maybe 2 hours. I've never found out how long it is open for. Just post an update to your thread that the item is sold. I follow the for sale items watching for the items to be marked sold, then I archive them. (Lock to prevent any further commenting and move it to the forum old/sold). I also check now and then for items that have been listed for over 2 months and archive them unless someone is actively involved in purchasing. If you have something that needs editing and it's past the open time, report it, or send a moderator a message with info on what needs to be edited to correct any wrong info. Else just add a comment to the thread with any information you want to add.
  12. @nstarleather You may have turned off notifications for this thread. Check at the bottom of the frame while you are editing or creating a post. See if notify me of replies is on and that hide has not been selected. If it is happening on all your threads, go to account settings > other settings > notification settings where you can fix it.
  13. Top right of the screen, your profile, and have a look around.

Painters tape, green tape leaves residue on the leather. Was not happy to see that!
  17. Again, note any restrictions on shipping. Shipping to Australia could get expensive.
  18. You need to tag the OP or quote his post so he gets a notice email. @VintageToolDude and you VintageToolDude need to check your postings frequently when you are trying to sell items.
  19. Picture missing. If you are having trouble with the file size, take a look through this thread for various solutions.
  20. To any place in the world, or continental USA? You need to identify any restrictions related to shipping.
  21. IP address is for Toronto, Ontario Canada. @Showe33 You may add your location to your profile so you get responses relative to your location when location is an important part of the equation.
  22. OP hasn't been around since July 2019. So I am archiving this thread.
  23. There is no such machine that does saddle stitch. It's by hand only. Almost all sewing machines use the so called lock stitch method. Specialized machines such as a serger use other methods.
  24. @RichardB You realize that this thread is from 2010. The OP hasn't been on this site since May 2016. @dbusarow If you are still around, you could have a sale here.
