  1. I'm stepping away now... A Sheridan design is what we're going with and I'm not good at drawing from scratch. I've tried pasting sheridan designs together and they don't flow right. And I have to say I'm not that good at carving and stamping Sheridan so it's going to be a long process. I guess the main thing is knowing what to cut and what to model after I even come up with a design.
  2. Anyone here have trouble with their artwork /design creativeness? Well this is not writers block. It's leather work block. Usually I'll see something someone's done and there's a wow factor. With me it's been a struggle creating my own designs. I can't figure it out! My designs are NOT wowing me! I have a seat I'm doing for a motorcycle my husband is entering in an invite only judged show. I need that wow factor!! What do you do when you have a leather work block??
  3. You can find a seat kit on Ebay but you'll be spending a lot. Just buy a seat pan and make your own. Accufast2d.net
  4. Welcome, Papaw! Sounds like you're going to be busy.
  5. So Jimbob, what do you do in the winter if you're closing the shop?
  6. Too bad you didn't have a handle on it. You could make your logo on a piece of leather and chain it on like purse manufacturers do.
  7. You don't have a photo so not sure what you're making her but I think you'll have trouble trying to put the logo on at this point. Maybe you could cut out a piece of leather and put the stamp on it and attach it as a decorative piece?
  8. Have a memorable Thanksgiving everyone!
  9. Now THAT'S a delivery! Looks like some major leather work ahead.
  10. Very unique! I think it turned out really nice. Stitching was probably a pain in the tight areas. Dye doesn't look bad at all in the photo.
