    Thanks so much for the tips, Tom. I copied them to my leather documents for future reference. I probably won't be getting to do any of this until after all the holidays but hopefully soon I will give it a try.

    I think you meant the comment for me and not for Todd. But thanks for the nice comment. This is actually not a whip stitch but a triple loop stitch.

    Here is a holster I did. The border tool is a craftool form Tandy #D607. There are a lot of choices out there, but this might give you an idea.

    That is very nice. The only thing I would have done differently is put a border around the basket weave.

    One thing that will make your pictures look pretty good is the background. I use a piece of synthetic wool for my background. I just lay it on my workbench and lay my projects on it, then take the picture with my Cannon Rebel camera. Here is one I have on eBay right now.
