What's the standard belt sizes. If someone says i have a 34 inch waist how long is the actual belt? Of if they say hey my waist is 42 , how does one figure the length of the leather needed to make that particular belt? Is there a general "Add 5 inches" or something? Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Wanted to put a spin on all these card wallets going around. I also wanted the item to be able to be used for much more. This can be used for a small change purse for ladies to carry if they don't want to lug the entire purse, it will hold several credit cards, a license some cash and some change. Someone mentioned they would use it for something, that's where the unmentionables came in. Here's a few pics

Ok, Been working on a project using sharkskin and stingray. This is shark with an inlay of stingray, it has blue contrast stitching with an interior pocket for a razor cell phone. It's 4" x 7.5". The interior lining is made with yachting material. Its canvas they use to cover hatches etc... Great material.

Ok guys, My kids had a field day with my photobox. So I want to build a bigger badder photobox. ( Typical Male, my wife says ) So what I'm asking is if you wouldn't mind posting a photo of your photo box to give me some inspiration. ok, i guess a picture says 1000 words so let me show you this He has a top layer of shark and a bottom layer of light leather. The edge appears to be all one piece without any folding. I'd like to achieve this with belts and other items as well.

Ok here's the example of what I would like to do., 1 layer 4oz veg tan 1 layer 1oz black cow leather I want to sew the black leather to the bottom of the veg tan. Now the edges you can see the two seperate layers of leather. When the project is done i want it to look like there is only one layer on the edges. how does one do that? I want to use this on several ideas but have come up empty.. Any ideas or tuts greatly appreciated

I'm partial to spotted concrete. The spots are hand crafted using a variety of Fiebings products, folgers, guinness, and a wide variety of bourbons. It's rather cheap to craft and the staining lasts a lifetime.

The only program that comes close to the full potential of Photoshop is GIMP. It's free but the learning curve is a tad steep as well as with Photoshop. If you're just wanting to resize images and nothing else than any of the programs mentioned in this thread will suit your needs. Photoshop $80.00 , I'd check into the vendor before I bought that one.

Excellent design. I like the 3/4 look to it.

The flask is cool and I still enjoy hanging out with Jack, Johnny, Jim over at Knob Creek with the Appletons Jamaican Rum Band kicking off the entertainment at the Guinness farm.

Those stitches are looking good kevin. It appears you have a slight angle on them now. I'm trying to get mine straighter. Still workin on my stitchin....It's awful

Funny you mention that place Kevin, I was on the phone with Jessica as I was typing this out, she only had pieces and they weren't the right size. She said some guy came in and bought up all she had. **Wonder who that was...hahaha

Looking for: Shark,Stingray,Elephant etc etc... Called Van Amburgs and holy moses are they $$$$ 15.50 sqf for shark. So if any of you guys know of someone else please let me know. Thanks
