    I don't really know a thing about horse tack... but as a leatherworking project - it's a little rough around the edges, but overall, it's very attractive and rather awesome.

    The journal is hands down my favorite. Very, very nice. I love the dye job, and pretty much everything else. I think that's probably the coolest application of the swing clasp I've seen in a while. I tend to dislike them in general, but it looks right on that journal.

    I suspect ... that there is actually nothing to keep the cards from falling. It looks like they assume since there are lots of slots you'll be able to recover any cards you lose. I think you're just supposed to be careful. I could be wrong, but that looks exactly like only one layer on that right side.

    Cool Chief! How do those printed leathers last? I've always been hesitant to use the printed ones I've seen. Granted, I've only seen them at Tandy, and they were very, very thin. Your braiding looks awesome, as usual. Rohn, how do you like the alligator print from Springfield? I've been wanting to try it. Is it too brittle and thin, or decent stuff? I'd love to see a picture of something you've made with it when you get around to it.

    Very nice. I've never heard of anyone using buffalo in a holster before. And I've never seen what looks like undyed buffalo before. Was it veg tanned? Whatever the case, it looks very nice.
