My dogs love the stuff I am constantly chasing them away while I cleanup aroung my belt sander. Nothing funnier than a jack russel with a leather dust covered snout sneezzing and running around in circles on a leather high.

I try real hard in all aspects of my leatherwork to be creative and individualistic, that is what I enjoy about it. And yes it is difficult at times to not infringe on someone elses work, wether it is a pattern or artwork. As for the comment made above, Almost all politicians are lawyers and from what I can see are not very good at either endeavor so what they do and say does not suprise me. Maybe it's the free medical benifits and the ability to give yourself pay raises that appeals to them.

I have a photo box but it needs some repairs. I took these tonight so they didn't go to the jury. The ones I sent had background and such. No offense taken. -

I would suspect 'anodizing yourself' could be painful or at the very least embarassing -
Not sure I know what you mean, more info / examples?

I think it was Twain, Mark not Shannia, that said quitting tobacco is easy I've done it a million times, or maybe it was Rodgers, Will not Roy. Keep the faith you will kick the evil weed. As a side note I have been unable to quit for more than a week or two but still try. LOL.

Better get busy, thats alot of holsters to make Just a thought....couldn't a person make some small cuts on the barrell of a chicago screw and bend it to make a pointy flange ? -
Very nice work. I am afraid that in the old days I would not of had much use for one as the bottles would not have been around long enough to need a wrap! other than the paper bag it came in.

Thank you for the link, that's just what I needed.

I have noted the same as to quality, No telling how long a kit has been packaged and there always seems to be sunlight darkening problems from sitting in the store. I will only buy a kit to use as a pattern now.

#2 or the little # looks like an 'a' on my screen.

Ed, the stamp maker should be able to clean up the spacing and such, just go with your gut. I'm sure whichever you choose it will look great.

Way cool, I found it helpful to go through the three corner holes 2 times each, really fills them in well. -

I have got to remember to stop when my glucose drops, I really messed up the stitching, maybe it will blend when I finish them with some oil.

You could use that poundo for soles but there are better materials out there. There are some other threads about clicker and moulding presses on this forum I am waiting for some of youz to post some measurements or pictures so I can plagerize(Haha) them in my minds eye and build my own, I am getting tired of scissors for that thick stuff. Here is a photo I found of some high end philipe phlops. Herrington catalog very classy.

A few more on the progress today

Very interesting concept, Looks like a great place for photos of old holsters and such.
-
Yes basically it is a press, hydraulic or air that you use a metal die shaped to what you want, apply pressure and CLICK you have a sole.
