  2. Very nice, Holly. I really like the way the color came out.
  3. Tandy sells it by the foot, and has the hardware.

  5. Very nice, Holly. What dye did you use?
  6. I recieved a flyer from Wickett & Craig with some great prices on both, and was wondering what the difference was.
  7. I got a flyer from Wickett & Craig with some really good prices on both, I was just wondering what the difference is.
  8. Works well for me. You still have to lean it around to get an even impression, but the bigger handle gives better control.
  9. How cool is that to have so many people around you. I say I'm near Philadelphia( yea Phillies!) and all I hear are the crickets chirping. Welcome Vikti, and take full advantage of having close compadres.
  10. The King is back! Awesome as usual, Kevin!
  11. Those look great, Johnny. Glad I could help.
  12. Well, the drawing was this morning, and after only a week or so of selling, $700 dollars was raised! Gonna get my butt in gear early for next year, imagine what a whole month could bring. The lady that won it was VERY happy, so it was a good day.
  13. You're quite welcome, Kate. The raffle started last thursday, and by friday afternoon, the total is $455 raised. And a few job prospects, so it's win-win...lol. Freak, you're quite welcome too! The projects mean more when the motivation comes from the heart, I think. I've been knocking this idea around since LAST october, and finally got it done last wednesday. I'm amazed by the response. Give your wife an extra hug tonight, ok?

  17. Thank you all very much. It means alot to me.
  18. As I've said before, I work at a hospital. It's actually the leading medical center in the area, with a state of the art breast center, with digital mammography, holistic healing, etc. My wife is a breast cancer survivor, and I'm thankful every day for the people who saved her life. I make pink ribbons from my scrap all the time, sell them and donate the money to b.c. research. This year I thought I'd do something different, and made this purse. I've donated it to the hospital, and they're raffling it off. Nothing spectacular, just an adaptation of an old Tandy pattern, used the last of my black Pro-Dye, and pink acrylic paint. Finally, Ladies, please do your self exams and get your yearly mammo's. And Gents, please encourage your significant others to do the same. Early detection saves lives, and I'm happy for that every day.
  19. Ian, have you tried Prismacolor art pencils? I get pretty good results with the white on darker leathers.
  20. You've definately got the knack for this stuff, Matt! Looks real good.
  21. Since the deadline is on my anniversary and the drawing is in my birthday, I gotta get in on this!! Glad to see you back Kevin!
  22. OK, here's mine...Always read ALL of the instructions! I got a Preval sprayer, loaded it with green spirit dye, sprayed a Rolling Rock Beer guitar strap, and then tried to treat the Preval like an aerosol can. Yup, turned it upside-down to clear the nozzle. Didn't know there was a vent on the sprayer, and ended up with a bright green hand for a few days. Goes along with always wear gloves too, huh?
  23. Now you're talkin' Crystal! Scrapple: everything but the oink! Deep fried, I like catsup on mine though. Come to my side of the state and you gotta have a cheesesteak. Or an Italian hoagie. There's a Stewart's right across the river from me in Trenton, NJ, I go there whenever I can. They have a "scramburger", which is loose burger mixed with melted american cheese, stuffed into a kaiser roll. Yum.
  24. You're right Tasha, that's one I saved for the baseball stitch....my bad.
