  1. From a Googled pic it looks to be a jump foot system, not a walking foot. I had a 105-25 and it didn´t have a walking foot / Knut
  2. I don´t think the average person knows the difference between handstitched or machinestitched, so why not describe your products as handstitched if they are. Saddle stitched is confusing . / my two cents / Knut
  3. I have a Harrington head knife, one of my favorites. I have also a set of Rampart edgers, also very good. / Knut
  4. Thank´s ! I will check if they will ship abroad. Stainless steel is clean. I bought a cheap Chinese canteen made of aluminum and it had a terrible smell inside that couldn´t be removed even after I boiled it for a long while, so it went straight into the metal recycling. / Knut PS canteen ordered!
  5. Luke, I can´t find any canteens on the Fall creek falls.com ?? Only bed and breakfast!? :-) / Knut
  6. Thank you Winterbear. I´ll check this out. No suppliers on this side of the Atlantic; I have to import saddle trees and hardware, so I guess I can take the cost of shipping a couple of boy scout canteens too. / Knut

  10. Pure lanoline could be a substitute for tallow as it is very water repallant, and probably easier to find than pure tallow.
  11. I am wondering if there has been some scientific research and studies on the subject: Can a cow feel happiness and What makes a cow happy and how can you tell ? Just a thought / Knut
  12. Tallow is the fat surrounding the animals kidneys, and it is not the same as suet. Suet will go rancid , tallow will not.
  13. A clicker would save much time
  14. An example of a happy hide! / Knut A cowboys grave.bmp
  15. I would use a magnet to find out if it is made of iron or aluminium / Knut
  16. Is this a cast iron Boss ? In the aluminum Boss there is a spring ( # AR-49) that keeps the tension upwards on the take up lever, to keep this problem from happening. The cast iron Boss does not have this spring. I had the same problem with my cast iron Boss, so I odered a spring from Tippmann, drilled and installed a pin on the take up arm and installed the spring. No more loops and slack on the top thread. Have a look at Tippmanns website and compare the parts between a Alum. Boss and a cast iron Boss and you will understand / Knut
  17. You can pour the molten mix in a plastic cup which is placed in cold water.
  18. It sounds like a aluminium Boss. I have had the same problems with two of them before I found a cast iron Boss. The aluminum machines are crap!
  19. No Adler 205 is made in China. They are all made in the Czech Republic ! / knut
  20. The pic is upside down, could you please repost it. It looks to be a stitching horse. / Knut
  21. Looking forward for warm weather but we will have to wait at least til end of April
  22. I think it started in Germany, the Aryan thing. No matter what, horns on Viking helmets are a joke! / knut
  23. Vikings helmets had neither horns or wings, so I guess the Minnesota theory is correct. LOL Swedish ice hockey fans use to wear blue and yellow horned viking helmets !!
  24. Vikings helmets had neither horns or wings, so I guess the Minnesota theory is correct. LOL Swedish ice hockey fans use to wear blue and yellow horned viking helmets !!
  25. VOLVO ! Took some pics of my wifes car today before I liberated it from the snow. It has been idle for months , I turned the key and it started right away. That´s a trusty old car ( 1987 model, never failed one day - so far!) / Knut
