Old Craftool Variation I Haven't Seen Before

I have some old Craftool stamps no numbers or letters some light plating, or not plated with just Craftool on the shank. Never see some of the patterns in the old catalogs. -
I have a catalog that lists 4 stores, 2 in Oregon then Montana Leather, Billings, Macpherson Leather in Seattle Wa. They all are connected some way. I try to buy from Portland instead of Eugene, even though closer to Eugene. Get better service from Portland.

I asked them about thread tension not working.All I got for a reply was silence, not much help! I have called you before and it was a wast of my time, do not need more.

What can I try to fix these problems? Back stitching is not matching forward Knots are on top or bottom and change every inch or two Can get it to sew and look good on scraps of the same leather as the good pieces, but good ones get screwed-up. The thread is under tension when the feet are lifted, by hand or knee The thread take-up arm seems to be out of time to the needle The leather is pulled forward at end of stitch at times causing short stitches The more I look at this machine the more it looks like a anchor with 2 ft of rope for a 6in boat in 1000 fathoms of water Thank you for any help you can give.

I have 2 of the New Improved models from Tandy, second one came in some tools I bought. They are Junk not worth messing with. Have an original one which is a wonderful tool works well. Try and take it back, they wouldn't take the one I bought from them back. More trash-can quality.

I have a 618, bought used for under 400.00 and the seller got a real good deal. To fix you would have to melt it down and start over. Never used a 206, but it has to be much better.
