  20. Glad you like it:-)I was lucky enough to have read about smaller pieces before I started...My objection is the massive amount of time it takes *pheuw* (OK, I confess, I did rip it up numerous times) but 10-12 hours, geezzzzzz.Don't be surprised if more skulls shows up in my stuff, I kind'a like it:-) Thank you Myriam,If I ever going to do a lacing again, I know where to go and I probably have gazillions of questions:-)
  21. Thank You all:-) I'm sooo happy I got down there...It is in my book the people in this craft that makes it so great:-)
  22. Hi Darryl and Thanks:-) No, I don't shave the fur, I want to keep as much as possible so I use masking tape to "take it away from the edges", then I do the stiches. Mocky and irritating but I like the resault.
  23. Hi Clay and Thank You for kicking my but down there:-) I've met so many wonderful people and also learned a lot of trciks and tips. Talked a lot to Alex Madsen (head judge) really helpful. OK, Clay, so I used the camera and here's my "Show of" picture of the entries I hope I can get the picture up (or if I have to wait, well I give it a try. The furrrry purse on the inside:-) Please...Can you send me some photos? When I started this gargoyle purse Tandy had in their catalog a gargoyle concho but...As so many things latley they stoped carying them :-( Thank You, glad you like it:-)
  24. First, Thank You, both Tom and Spider:-) Spider... I have some leather on the top of the fur so the string can run free in the grommets. These 2 pieces I sew together on a sewing machine. The same with the inside (I should have a photo of that one too) the inside is the same size black leather on the top but I have red deer hide instead of the fur here. I sew this 2 pieces tohetjer omn the machine so I end up with 2 sides all together. Then I hand stich the pieces to the tooled part. The last piece is the one covering the tooled side and that is red and hand sewn "in-side-out" If you want, I can take some pictures of it, just howl:-)
  25. Great job on these Tom, I love the design and the overall finished look, like a pro:-)
