  1. Thanks Tazar, PDFs look Great.
  2. Payment sent thanks.
  3. Pictures go a long way. And, you will probably have to break it up to sell it. Just going by what I have what I've seen here in the past. Good luck.
  4. If you lean towards a rougher design, nonburnished edges seem acceptable to me.
  5. And that is great thinking. Practice pieces make us look better than we are.
  6. @matts it is a Japanese rb-1. Although I can't figure out when it was made. Sorry for the hijack.
  7. That sounds like a deal. I'll email you Friday for payment.
  8. Looks a little steep, but they sure look nice. Any deals available for buying all three? I may holler on Friday.
  9. Turns out you can't run 207 in the 206rb. You can run it on top but not in the bobbin. I know retailers list 207 in their descriptions, but it is a little misleading. Cowboy Bob said the 206 just won't pull an even stitch with 207 in the bobbin. I think it has to do with the needle size ranges. That being said, I found my 206 with a new table and servo for 400 bucks. The real deals are out there somewhere.
  10. Cool, welcome aboard. I don't know anything about that machine, but it looks pretty tough.
  11. After being inspired by @DarrelT this morning I jumped right in on some more batchwork. Using a Wuta template I laid out and pattern cut 5 passport covers. This only took about 45 minutes. They are only rough cut for now. Next step I will dye them all at once.
  12. Stitches are looking good. It is hard to tell, but you may have a few of them snugged down a bit tighter than others. If so, practice getting consistent tension thru out the whole piece. Every leather is a little different. Great job. And, you have inspired my next project. My boss's son is going out of the country in March. I think I'll make him one for the trip.
  13. Welcome back to leather. Thank you for your service.
  14. Nice work. Welcome aboard.
  15. Just for info, Springfield Leather has hat pattern packs. Diesel punk leather has some cool ones also, on Etsy.
  16. Very good job, Sir.
  17. Wuta and Kevin Lee both make a set. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F153171943608 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F153019002257
  18. Great job.
  19. That's kind of how I feel about it. However, if you aren't doing custom pieces, I don't think you will see as much of it. My idea (and keep in mind I am not trying to live off this) is to build a little inventory and just sell what I have already made. I don't wish to be a business man again. When people ask if I'll make a certain item, and I want to make it, then I tell them if I make one of those I'll let you know. They can buy it or not. And be firm on your price, my boss has finally taught me that. Not everyone does "blank", and those that do don't do it for free.
  20. Buddy, that is well put. I am committing that to the memory banks.
  21. Hahaha in that chair I was the thinking the hat must weigh 10 pounds.
  22. I went ahead and snagged the last one.
  23. Are you doing more than 1 at a time???
