I can't find the post right now, but when I made mine, I used his table as an inspiration. He made a U shaped table with thee marble inlayed into the table so it was flush to the surface. I did the same basic thing and I love it.

FWIF, The towel may work for some of the other conchos, but for the pointy spot styles, the spike setter from Tandy worked well. http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/home/department/Hardware/Spots-Spikes/8109-00.aspx

Is something like this what you're looking for? Plains moccosins There's also these: http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/home/department/Books-Patterns/62690-00.aspx?feature=Product_18

I'd be proud to sit on that:spoton:

They're basically double cap rivet style, I just can't think of a good way to pound them down into place w/o damaging the concho.

I bought a few sets of old world rivet-back conchos from Hide House South. They're really awesome, I just have one question...how do I attach them?! I suppose I should have asked when I ordered them, but I think someone here has used them before and could probably help. Here's a link to what they have: http://www.hidehouse.../Old-World1.htm

I think what you're really asking for is tagging(another way of categorizing), and yeah, being able to tag a post would be awesome!

I like the shape of the front

I really like the belt. I love the effect the E294 series gives. -

It looks really good! Now how did you go about making it -
Huzzah the dates are working!

It's kind of like Facebook or Twitter. Basically a way to let everyone know what you're up to at any point in time. Johanna or Kate : Is there twitter integration for the statuses?
-
Randy, at the top right of the board under the search box is a link that says "View New Content". I think that is what you are looking for.

Oh, and the logout button doesn't seem to work, not that anyone here would ever willingly log out

FWIW, If you mean a wheelie thing like this :, that means AJAX, not flash. And, yeah, there's a bit of AJAX flowing here, I can feel it.

Is there a place for us to report bugs? For instance, on all the posts, instead of the date and time, it's showing h:i:a which should be the hour, minutes and seconds. And the member info on the side here <=== is showing j-Fy instead the joined date.

Just got my stamp from Brenda at Laser Gift Creations and it's great! I ordered two, one for me and one for my dad.

congrats! Maybe I'll make the trek up to Centre Hall to check it out

So an update: We agreed on $95 + shipping. He asked how we accept payment (PayPal or money order) and we haven't heard from him since. Does that happen a lot to you who do lots of custom work?
-
Yes you could do that, but there is a really good chance you wouldn't be able to achieve a suitable seam/seal in your bottle. If you're going for something really off the wall (like a face on one side and a yeti on the other) then yeah, that's the way to do it. If you're just doing a normal one, it's much easier to sew it first. Stan, the images seem to have been lost, but here's the pinned article: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=3084

Depending on the situation, that's just a matter of semantics I should know!
