Take the old one off,get a foot pedal & fasten to lower parts of legs and you'll need a longer chain to connect from the head to the pedal.

Many years ago I thought I knew it all & was working on a neighbors treadle machine & the more oil I gave it the tighter it got until it wouldn't turn,I took the head out of the cabinet took it to work the next day & told the seasoned mechanic what happened & he broke out in laughter.After what seemed like 5 minutes he told me they've been using 3 in 1 & the new oil caused it to jam from the wax.There were some parts on the machine(underneath) that even had some waxing icicles almost 1/4" hanging off of it.So he told me to take some kerosene & re-oil the main bearings & it should free up,that did the trick & sure made my neighbor happy when I took it back.

Try oiling the pin in the tab.To open the bobbincase put your thumbnail underneath the front triangle piece of the bobbincase & it will pop the tab up.These machines used a 128x42 from the factory BUT they have been discontinued so you can use the 128x4 we have in stock in sizes #14,16,18,20,22.You should be able to use up to #138 thread in it.

You can use sizes #46,69,92 & #138 #46 is the smallest.

It will use #69 & #92 thread & was made for leather coats & other light leather sewing.Should use the leather point 135x16 needle

@FlyingMonkYou'll run into problems using a 112W sewing belts as the feet will be too wide to get close to a buckle for the difference a single needle 111W will work better & there are alot of different feet available for it too.

Yes those needles are still available for $200.00 a box of (100),there is a needlebar & needle clamp available that would allow you to use the smaller shank 214x1 which the smallest size is a #19.We have the clamp & needlebar in stock for $36.00 + shpg.

Yes,this guide will work.The guide we sell is identical to the one in question & no guides I know of provide front to back adjustment (just the drop down has this feature) just left to right.The CB3200 uses a different casting than the 441's & does not have a flat machines spot to fasten a drop down edge guide.

Size #69 nylon with a #16 needle should work.

Both tensions are too tight,alot of people like to see a stitch like this in leather(were it pulls in tightly) so it doesn't lay on the outside of the material to get rubbed against & cause the thread to wear through.

Many moons ago the first one I ever worked on just wouldn't sew using 138 nylon.I mentioned it to someone & he said trying some cotton thread with some lube,it sewed great.The nylon doesn't hold the loop like the cotton does.

Most people use a lockstitch on uppers. .It will use up to a #5 cord (346 nylon) but you'll have big loops on the back side,so I think 138 would hold good & not be too big on the bottom.

Ok,if they both are all the way in try raising the feed dog so it can lift the leather off the plate,also check that feed dog doesn't have any play in it by pushing it front to back,try the needlebar too,sometimes parts in the feed system get loose & need to be tightened or replaced.

@sinneD Glad to hear you got them so quickly.I just had a customer call today that he got a package we mailed him on 9/27/24 today! Usually the USPS does pretty good but they can make mistakes(like all of us) every once in a while!

By turning screw CC & the stitch length knob both in all the way should give you a long stitch length.You might also check the feed dog height to make sure it rises above the needle plate when it feeds.We do have both screw BB & CC in stock,BB is used to keep CC locked in.
