  1. Hey,looks pretty good. The easiest thing to do is get a larger wheel on the reducer so you have at least a 4-1 reduction,5-1 would even be better.Larger handwheels this shaft size are hard to find.
  2. Why wouldn't a standard LR needle for a 441 work?
  3. We used to sell Econosews & I checked the only machine that comes close to that model# is a 727-5 which is the same as a Consew 205RB here's a manual for it LMK if it's the correct one or not.If not posting a pic will help.. Consew205RB.pdf
  4. I asked them 10 years ago & the minimum was 10,000 BUT they were bought out by Groz-Beckert a couple yrs ago & things may have changed.
  5. @AlZilla Just so you know it's a light duty machine that just has bottom feed in it.
  6. Yes,it's a double needle model 22,single needle of this type is model #21,the model #12 has a shorter arm & doesn't have this type of slide plates. Here's a parts list for this machine. Singer_22W1,_W110.pdf
  7. @AlZilla Looks like a Singer model #21(forerunner of 111w) to me.Great pics of everything BUT the front!!LOL!! Ask them to turn it around & see if it has a ag on it & maybe another pic or 2 will help us.
  8. More info on the different 111w models. You'll find the 111W155 has the highest lift & longest stitch length. Singer 111w Class Machine Brochure-1.PDF
  9. All the screws on this machine loosen counterclockwise.
  10. I know it's too late BUT never ever ship a machine with the wheel on it!The slightest little hit at an angle to the wheel puts alot of force on the sfaft it & will bend it everytime. Many times UPS refuses to pay a claim like this IDK what Fed Ex will do since we don't use them. Are both of the screws loosened on the hub?Take both screws all the way out & use a screwdriver holding onto the rod under the top cover & you should be able to spin the wheel while pulling towards you should spin it off.Once you get it off get a thick wall piece of pipe with an inside diameter of the shaft & you can straighten the shaft, you'll need to find the high spot of the bend ,put the pipe on bend it down, put the wheel back on,spin it to check the wobble & keep repeating the process until it's straight,I've fixed many this way. It's alot easier than pulling the shaft.
  11. @maggieljThe "Special Edition" was another sellers idea & he sold them for $500.00 more(the pin striper charged $350.00), I never sold them I didn't feel it was worth it since it'll probably rub off in use, most of my customers don't want to spend no more than they have to.
  12. It is a 1/2" x28 tpi.I made a tap once out of an old one (screw)by cutting 4 slots in the bottom up a 1/2" or so & squeezed it in alittle so it would start.
  13. Good ideas,we usually put the head behind the seat (upright)on the floor if they have a 4-door truck,.they fit real nice & then they can push the passenger seat back against it to keep it from moving.
  14. @BigBoreWhen you take the side cover off have you oiled on the pressure bar above the bushing,on the roller further up & then don't forget the inside of the tension adjuster @ the top of the machine. One more thing when this happens again before you push it down, check the chain from the lifter arm to the lower hole through the table, some chains catch in the hole when they are released & maybe switching ends will stop it from getting caught if this is the problem.
  15. FWIW,Alot of the first servos we got in 15 yrs ago used to be pretty loud some in the same shipment were louder than others, they claimed it had something to do that they had uneven # of windings in the coils as time progressed they seemed to get quieter. We only use the brush type now & they all seem to be real quiet.
  16. Ok,they had 3 styles of stitch length on this model,I was shooting in the dark w/o any pics so here's a ,manual that show how to adjust the length.Look @ page 13 144w103.pdf
  17. It will mark the bottom side of the leather since it is a bottom feed only ,it might sew to 3/8" leather if it's not too hard of leather.Otherwise they do hold up pretty good as long as they're oiled properly.
  18. You might try adjusting the length by turning these screws, not all machines take the spindle either, are there threads on the end of the shaft?
  19. Light duty auto-lube made for high speed sewing of thin shirts, dresses & draperies.Just has a bottom feed.
  20. Since you don't have that knob on top it might be a 145W202 here's a manual for it. 144w102.pdf
  21. You might want to check with College Sewing they are in Bury, UK & stock alot of parts too.Google them & you'll find their website.
  22. Here's the parts & oper manual,Consew was buying these from Seiko & putting their name on them,so that's why even the Consew machines parts had Seiko on them.Since we are a Consew dealer we have alot of parts in stock for them. 206RB-5oper_manual.pdf 206RBparts.pdf
  23. Collage Sewing in UK should have them, here's their website:Homepage | College Sewing Machine Parts Ltd (college-sewing.co.uk)
